Growing up in the panhandle, Tri-State was Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado. Did some of jr high in South Sioux City, so the tri-state was Sioux City, Iowa, South Sioux City, Nebraska, and North Sioux City, South Dakota.

Growing up in the panhandle, Tri-State was Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado. In Husker Volleyball recruiting the tri-state area would have to be Nebraska-Iowa-Illinois.

Love this I saw Hunter on the NTDP roster list, I was really surprised to see her listed with how recent her injury was. Is she back on the court already?

Pretty sure Hunter can’t be on the court yet. And not with those shoes.

With the departures of Jerivicious, Kubik, and Mendleson, my guess is they have at least 2 available scholarships in 2025. Didn't her dad play football at Stanford? I recall hearing rumors 🎄 was the desired school. Having committed to Northwestern, this move to Nebraska is an odd fit. She's good, no doubt, but Nebraska isn't exactly Stanford/NW. Yeah, I'm sorry, no shade intended but anyone who is making their collegiate decision based on academics who ends up going to Nebraska is questionable to me. I personally don't think undergrad matters that much these days in the grand scheme of things but there is a big drop off from Northwestern to Nebraska in terms of academics, period. Northwestern is a top 10-ish school in a wealthy suburb of one of the highest GDP cities in the country, Nebraska isn't even an AAU member.

The purpose of college is to prepare one for their career. Manaia is a business major. NE has a good business school, combine that with the hands-on experience she will get managing her NIL $$, which is a business opportunity available to her at NE, more so than Northwestern. Manaia will be well served career-wise getting a Business Degree and playing VB at NE.
