I have to give it to Nebraska, I haven't seen recruiting like this in a very long time👏🏽 You haven't seen recruiting like this since Texas most of the last 20 years lol, right. A Texas fan envious of another programs recruiting has to be the dumbest thing I've seen in a long time.

It’s not the recruiting they are jealous of, per se, it being able to recruit elite players for all 6 positions on the court. Texas for the past decade plus has had elite midldles and outsides, but rarely have even serviceable setters, Liberia or ds. . . hey, it a plan, and they’ve made the championship twice in the real seasons and again in the *asterisk* season. . . But history says if you want championships you must have an elite setter and very good play in the back court. . . Texas thinks they can just power their way through. . . Maybe that will change when they are in the SEC. . . Or maybe Morrison will help. . .

Earlier in this past decade Collins was a top ranked setter, both Neal and Mccoy were top ranked L. These are players that could have gone anywhere.

I was giving a compliment to Nebraska and their recruiting with no bad intent let's not forget though it was Texas who ran through the B1G in the tournament so clearly what Texas is doing is working and will continue to work for years to come. Jerritt will always get top recruits so that will never be a problem. Texas may not have won national championships but don't act like they don't get to that stage🙄 you try to be nice to Nebraska fans and they just turn arrogant(not all but some). Texas hitters are just fine and you may say they aren't being developed but the success Texas has had says otherwise 🤫🤘🏽

I don't get it. A Texas literally gave props to the Huskers [yes it's rare] but you just had to twist it. Typical volleytalk. lol

My dream last night was that the Big Ten called Coach Cook and asked him to stop recruiting for a year because the Nebraska coaches were embarrassing some other teams.

As we mark time waiting for the Red White game, I have been thinking about the quality of the recruiting classes and the teams for the next three seasons. Each year has the potential to be quite fun. Looking at the fall 2023, good setting, good DS, four MB with great potential and six pretty outstanding hitters, if everyone focuses on the team and stays. Really looking forward to the Red White game. GBR.

McCou was one of the top liberos in her class, and Iosia was a top 20 recruit. Where do you get your information from?

If you look at their ridiculously huge list of all-Americans, those players haven’t been setters or Libero’s which is what I’m assuming was the point this poster was trying to make. I personally think Texas has been a consistently incredible program, but if they’ve had a weakness it’s been the highest level of play out of those positions. 99.9% of programs would love their shortcomings.
