Nebraska is going to be perfectly fine for 2024, but I see quite the conundrum brewing (for the current Nebraska standards) for 2025+. Aymes switching to Texas (and the further Mendelson transfer) doesn't really leave Nebraska with a Nebraska quality MB for depth. Sure there are some talented middles in the portal, but it would seem quite the task to get a Nebraska quality middle in the portal only to sit behind Allick and Jackson. Players that good presumably WANT to play. Now with Jurevicious leading, after 2024, the only returning pin starter will be Murray and the only other pin depth would be Pierce...and I dunno if she's gonna make the cut of what Nebraska needs to win titles. I'm always open to be proven wrong, but I don't see an elite six rotation attacker right now in Pierce. The rest of the hitting talent for 2025 will be true freshman..... I'm curious to see how Cook navigates the 2024/2025 transition. Landfair returns in 2025. Two years of eligibility. Pierce will be a sophomore and I'm extremely high on Sigler's ball control. Isn’t landfair a 2020? How is she staying through 2025?

You look at tonight's match," Cook said. "I mean, they've got half their starting team are transfers. They're all fourth- and fifth-year players, except for Ella, the setter, who did a great job. That's how they've been building their teams. That's how they built last year's team. I like what we're doing. I like recruiting kids and trying to make them be great."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA.... I'm not sure it's hypocracy to say: I hate having transfers. If we have them, I really don't like taking inside the conference. But, if forced, I will. Haters will hate, no matter what. However, if one looks at the recent row national champions, it seems transfers have come to teams that want to end near the top. No one is being forced. He literally made a championship game with only having 1. It’s a choice to add one now, doesn’t mean it’s a wrong choice.

Minnesota site says Landfair played in 9 matches in 2021. It also says Minnesota played 28 regular season matches in 2021. That would mean Landfair played in ~32% of Minnesota's competitions, which is over the 30% limit. Maybe the rule has changed or I'm missing something here.

You're missing that the 30 percent calculation is based on total competitions. Not just regular season. Minnesota played in 32 matches, so 9/32 is 28%.

That makes sense in regards to the most recent document I found from 2022. I previously saw something about 'competition dates' in another document which could be confusing since teams do not schedule equal matches/competition dates, so, I was wondering if there was a specific number, but, it seems to be based on each individual team and their matches played, including postseason. ncaaorg.s3.amazonaws.com/compliance/sar/d1/D1SAR_NewlyAdoptedHardshipWaiverLegislationPowerPoint.pdfIt doesn't provide a case study for volleyball, but, not sure it's really necessary as it's pretty well laid out and you can draw from the other examples. Landfair didn't play past the halfway mark either.
