Was impressed with Poulter, White, Tunell, Granato, and Smith's hitting ( though she had a lot of errors) Smith: 9 kills in 14 swings I like that she is a 6-rotation player.

The event itself needs a SERIOUS overhaul..it's poorly staged, poorly run, and most people are just bored. I've seen middle school productions of Our Town with better pacing and crowd interest. Completely agree. Lots of delays for imaginary commercials. Crowd engaging stuff (giveaways, etc.) overlapped with actual match play. And they only let spectators sit on one side of the arena, then at the end they had the backdrop for presenting the MOPs set up to face the other way, so we had to watch it on the video board.

as a hawaii fan, I was stoked to watch granato and even more stoked that she played so well. as far as all the right sides, she stood out the most and put down the most kills, 8? I doubt she'll be a RS at hawaii because of her size but she showed that she was able to keep up with the best.

Yeah, but I was really curious if anyone remembers what the winning speed was for Nwanebu and Frantti? Frantti = 55 mph

You add Hayley Hodson and Audrianna Fitzmorris and pretty much you get the starting team for the US Girl's Team. This match was no contest, sorry to the East Team. Poulter is a special kid. Such great hands and nice location of sets. And those Texas recruits were pretty good too. But yes, the "Hook em" should stop.

I don't know if I said this, but come volleuball season, granato will show how vastly ubderrated she was by prepvolleyball. Now I don't think she was a top 10 or even top 20 recruit. But definitely should of been ranked in the top 50.

I know dave will be stubborn at first and play tai (ala long and greeley situation), but granato is leaps and bounds better than tai in every aspect of the game. She may be the next great wahine

Wasn't meant that way at all! You do a miraculous job at what you do, and 99 percent of the time, your ranks are spot on when these kids get into college. Granatos class was loaded, so i see why she was where she was, I just have a gut feeling she's going to be something special
