Juley redshirting I guess? She's only 5'10". Poulter is 6'2" but probably not as accurate. I wouldn't take that setting skills competition serious, its like a college three point shooting contest, the best shooter doesn't always win. Good point, in game is the real measurement of performance

That "Hook Em" thing texas players do, needs to die.

Im surprised Foecke won the hardest hitter, I think White and Johnson hit harder.

East players can not pass. All of Texas recruits can hit the snot out of the ball. Morgan Johnson sure put a tattoo on someone. Johnson, White, and Walsh (out with ankle) all play at TAV together. Seriously not impressed with the backrow play on either side. Maybe I was expecting too much.

Poulter is scary good. She could challenge carlini.

Does anyone remember what Nwanebu scored on the radar gun when she won in 13, or last years winner (forgot who won)?
Foecke scored a 56, but it looked like White's hit was harder but maybe did not register because they had a couple players redo hits.

The dude with the radar gun was struggling to get the balls on radar.

These cannot be the top two liberos in the 2015 class? I thought the libero from Kiva Saurer (Spelling?) was the top ranked one.

West just spanked the East. East never really got close to 20 points.

These cannot be the top two liberos in the 2015 class? I thought the libero from Kiva Saurer (Spelling?) was the top ranked one. I've learned along the way that there are a lot of awards given based on reputation / pre-season picks. I picked 5 of the 6 major awards in our area this year BEFORE the season started. The top hitter awarded in our area wasn't the top hitter in our district much less the whole area based on kills or pct but pre-season was picked for many things. The top setter awarded was almost 400, Yes 400, assist short of the girl who lead our district yet was all everything in pre-season. Defensive PoY did have 160 more digs (in 30 more sets) but also 100 more errors. Grin and bear it. Their is a lot of talent playing out there and not all of them will be playing at Big Name University or on ESPN.

Was impressed with Poulter, White, Tunell, Granato, and Smith's hitting ( though she had a lot of errors)

All-star matches need to die in a fire. These things are so worthless. Can't believe some of you are really judging how a player looks in a match where they're all playing with strangers, can't establish a rhythm and barely care about the outcome.
