In the pre-season alumni match Plum, Brenner, Newcombe, Jacob, etc beat the student team for the first time in Oregon history earlier this year. Will be interesting if the new firepower can turn the tradition back around and really wish they'd stream it on the Pac site.

Valley Christian won the CA Div III title riding the coattails of Ronika Stone's 18 kills ... Oregon is looking very solid next year.

For a second I thought this was a thread about the Oregon Trail game and I got way to excited.

My best guess at their lineup next year: OH: McLaren and Vander Weide MB: Stone and Nady S: Scott Opp: Johnson (so many options in JR, TA, FS as well) L: Benson DS (if needed, this is a pretty strong defensive team): VanSickle

Excellent 2016 class. One of my favorite in the nation! I say 6-2 because Brooke is such a dynamic player. Way too good to just be used as a DS.

If I was ranking the recruiting classes this year, I would go Florida 1, Stanford 2 and Oregon 3. I've seen lots of volleyball in this age group (my kid is a 2016), and not that I know everything, but I DO know you Ducks definitely got a dandy class! Will be fun to watch all of the 2016 recruits over the next 4 years.

In terms of immediate impact I think oregons class will be among the top (along with Stanford, UNC, Ucla, Florida, etc). Stone will 1000% be a starter. Johnson and Rasmussen will likely get a chance to become starters as well.

After moving to the right side when we switched to the 6-2, Taylor Agost hit .319 over the last 11 matches, on nearly 3 kps (in limited rotations as the 2nd right side). I think any lineup that doesn't start with her as OPP1 is unlikely.
