Oregon Men's Basketball had one of the craziest run at the end of the season to qualify for the NCAAs, although they did have the Pac-12 tournament to help them, which volleyball doesn't. Wonder if Oregon can find the same disney magic.

The season is over. I still think Ulmer is the right coach. I think injuries and just going young really hurt the Ducks this season. Lets face it, Ronika and Willow are the only 2 upperclassman on the starting roaster, most of the rest are freshman. Even Nunevillar was a rookie at OH and took her some time to get better at swinging at the Pa12 level.
All that said, basically we had a ball control problem. And when you rely on freshman passing and freshman setting, it can bite you in the ass, esp with the pressure of a go-fast offense. I love me a fast offense, but when you have so much youth on the team, I think you build towards a fast offense and just work on the fundamentals of the college game and college speed. You go fast when appropriate on a 3 pass, but when you have the pressure of also trying to make your passs fast, then it can be problematic.
I do think the Ducks have the right girls and this years experience will only help them, but they need to work on ball control in the off-season, and Ulmer needs to rethink the speed game.

Looking at next year, assuming no transfers, how does the lineup shake out?
OH: Borup, Nuneviller MB: Hansen, Bacon L: Murphy
Setting will be some combo of Robinson and Ferreira, who is at OPP?
It will be good to have another DS recruit coming in!

Has a team with this level of talent, even considering the injuries, ever lost this much? A wacky season. If the Ducks were tournament eligible, I still wouldn't want to meet them.

Has Borup ever had a full season injury free?

Taylor Williams will have another year of experience, her ceiling is really high.

They get UCLA and USC who are also banged up............tomorrow Unless we have entered a time warp, UCLA vs Oregon is on Friday, not tomorrow.

Well really Oregon has a lot to be excited about with this group of freshman. After a few years of adjustments and experiences, they could be ready for the top half of the Pac-12 when they are seniors. They might be pretty close to even making the NCAA tournament that year if they really work hard and improve. It's a long shot, but they are really going to have to work for it to get better.

Whew, I wouldn't touch those comments with a ten-foot Dane. As a former Oregonian who went to UO, plus was at Mac Court for the "Lukes Show" (Ridnour and Jackson), I feel that I can address the state of Oregon sports with veracity. As far as WVB, I feel that the players ('musicians') could be there: perhaps a better 'conductor' is needed!

Is Morgan Lewis still on the team? She haven’t seen any PT since the Stanford game on Nov 3. That is a long time to not see PT on a team with such a lousy record. Shouldn’t she be in more to prep for the future?
