The U.S. has a handful of teams competing this week in Brazil - led by Casebeer! Yet, no Gibb/Patterson nor Walsh/Ross.

Not a good USA showing in the Q. No teams advance.

Jeez - some big main draw wins for a bunch of the Brazilian men's teams who either qualified or were given wild cards. Fair to say there is a much deeper talent pool down there than in the U.S.

All this without their top team. Why aren't Alison/Bruno playing?

What happened to Hyden and Bourne? I see "Hyden/Bourne USA [6] Caminati/Rossi ITA [22] 0-2 (0-21, 0-21)" on the results page.

What happened to Hyden and Bourne? I see "Hyden/Bourne USA [6] Caminati/Rossi ITA [22] 0-2 (0-21, 0-21)" on the results page. Looks like that was a mistake and they now have it the other way around. ITA team must have forfeited.

Yikes, 1st tournament....not good. Father Time My first thought too. That guy is undefeated (although Jen Kessey looks to be giving him a run this week)

Brutal start of the season for Fendrick/Sweat. Dead last in a so-so pool, winning one game in three total matches.

Brutal start of the season for Fendrick/Sweat. Dead last in a so-so pool, winning one game in three total matches. Really?? if the the Chinese team is healthy, they aren't bad, same with the good young Brazilian team. I thought this was the deepest pool on the women's side, easily.
