With the Olympic draw predetermined to have Pool C and Pool F winners meet in the quarterfinals, US fans (and Gibb/Patterson) probably don't want them to take first in pool because it would likely entail a match up against Nick and Phil. Of course, taking care of business here is first priority, but a 2nd place finish would likely be best for Jake and Casey.
