I also like Mugen's character better than Hector's. Hector is simple, while Mugen is complex. However.... well, spoilers. I'm aware, unfortunately. I stumbled across it somewhere. I think the characters in Shadow Tactics are more complex than the Desperados 3 characters in general from a writing standpoint. Like I barely know anything about Doc, for example, beyond his general persona. Even Cooper, who is the protagonist of the story, doesn't really have much of a character arc beyond his quest to get revenge on Frank for what happened to his father years earlier. And that's with three flashbacks, including two that are missions. I feel like I already know more about Yuki than anyone in Desperados 3. I'm not really complaining, exactly. Desperados 3's story was solid enough, and I did like the banter between the characters. I think I also prefer it from a gameplay standpoint. But still.

Anyway, I'm currently doing the mission in Shadow Tactics where you're fighting in a war zone. It's kind of nice that I can kill enemies without worrying about hiding their bodies because the other enemies seem to assume that they just got killed in the normal fighting. Even when I used Hayato to shuriken some early enemies, it just set off an alarm with no reinforcements, and I just had to wait for a minute or so for the enemies to go back to their positions.
I was also playing one of the baron missions in Desperados 3. This one's objective was to kill some snake oil salesman and put his body in a casket in Flagstone. I'm just trying to clear these, so I have it on the lowest difficulty. I decided that rather than trying to stealth it (there are like a dozen people watching the guy), it was easier to just snipe him and then shotgun the reinforcements. I then started sniping the other enemies in the area either with Doc's gun from long range or with Kate's gun from a rooftop. Once they were out of the way, I just had Hector pick up the body and run over to the coffin.

Keep in mind that the characters in Shadow Tactics were original for the devs, while the characters in Desperados 3 were mostly taken from previous games. It's a prequel to Desperados (2001), Desperados 2 (2006) and Helldorado (2007).

I managed to kill all three of them and two straw hats with one of Takuma's grenades. And then I took out the general with explosive barrels.

Somehow you can blow up the general, and yet still capture him alive in the cutscene.

I forgot to mention, but it was quite amusing with the one grenade that killed the five enemies. There was another guard nearby who somehow didn't see any of the carnage, and then there was a civilian who was carrying barrels to and fro. When he saw the dead guards, he ran to warn a samurai, who promptly told him to get lost. But it seems like he was programmed to do that every time he saw a body, so he went and reported it four more times for the other four guards that got blown up. And every time, the samurai continued to shoo him away. After the fifth time, he finally returned to his normal routine.

I think it is that warzone mission that starts a trend for many of the remaining missions that you begin the mission with your team split up.

Takuma can't leave his starting location, but he can snipe people from there as long as he has shots remaining. I've killed every single guard on this level, but it's not necessary. All you need is the body, and if you can grab it and run, that works.

All you need is the body, and if you can grab it and run, that works. Yeah, given how the mission plays out, I just wanted to get through it as quickly as possible, so I copied the strategy in this speed run: Aiko and Takuma are all you need. I had Takuma snipe the enemy in the tower immediately and moved him into position where he could snipe the sentry outside the camp and the mission target without moving. I then snuck Aiko into the tower where the first enemy got sniped (I saw a modified version of this strategy in another speed run video where they had Aiko shoot a different enemy from the tower instead of having Takuma shoot one to create the distraction). I set up a shadow mode for Takuma to shoot the target, and then I switched back to Aiko. After Takuma sniped him, I had Aiko jump down from the tower and run over to the target. You just need to get his body off the mat he's on to initiate the cutscene that ends the mission. It took a few attempts because Aiko kept getting shot, but I eventually did it. My final time for the mission was 7:32, which is the first speed run badge I've earned in either game.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
A short DLC-like standalone game that was released shortly after the main Uncharted 4 game. I'm currently in the middle of it. I love it so far but its game mechanics are identical to the ones found in Uncharted 4. Still, a lot of fun.
I'm always amazed at the parkour abilities of these Uncharted characters. Chloe, Nadine, and even Elena (in Uncharted 4) can pull off the most amazing parkour moves in the history of parkour -- things like jumping 50-60 feet in the air and safely landing on a ledge by the tips of their fingers...like...how the f### is that even possible!?!?! LOL!

Sniper Elite 4
I'm in the middle of the initial "tutorial" mission. It's okay but one thing I don't like about this game is that even though I can traverse walls with a simple press of the "x" button, there are some walls I can't traverse at all even if they're lower in height than the walls I can traverse. I'm not talking about walls that serve as boundaries for the game area (which you shouldn't be able to traverse for the sake of the game), but simple things like a bunch of sand bags that separate the soldier/guard living space tent areas from the rest of the military camp.
I'm not playing in the higher difficulty setting because I didn't want to deal with wind and bullet weight factors. From what I read, at the higher difficult levels, wind effects are too over the top.
So far, though, fun game.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands
I played about 30 minutes of this game. It's similar to all the other Borderlands games. So, it's fantastic. I selected a class almost randomly because I didn't have a clue about which one I should pick. It didn't matter. They're probably all good. I gave the disc back to my friend. I'll be purchasing this game through Sony PS Store when it's on sale.

A Plague Tale: Innocence
Supposedly a great stealth game. Critically acclaimed. You mostly get by via stealth or running away. Your only weapon is a sling shot. I made it all the way to the first boss fight where I have to defeat this heavily armored dude with my slingshot. LOL! I must've died half a dozen times. LOL!
I'll get this game from the PS Store if I have no other game to play/buy and it's under $5.00.
