Evil West
I played about 40 minutes of it. What a fantastic game! It got mixed reviews by critics when it came out but people seem to love it. Over time, even critics have included this game as an "underappreciated" gem.
My only problem with this game -- and it's a minor problem -- is that if you enter the path/door of the main story mission, you can't go back to other paths to pick up loot/cash. It's possible that I may be able to go back to these places later but given that this is a linear game, I kinda doubt it. For example, let's say you enter a small ghost town. There are several buildings you can check out but during your first playthrough, you won't know which building is for the main story mission and which are optional buildings you can enter to loot. I entered one building, got some cash, and was planning to check out the other buildings but I stumbled upon the one building that's part of the main story mission I was currently on. After I entered that building, there was no going back. I guess it's like most other linear games, e.g. The Last of Us 1/2, where you really can't go back to places you left.
I'm buying this game when it's on sale.

Redfall sounds like a can't miss title: a vampire game from Arkane Studios? Except it missed anyway.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands I played about 30 minutes of this game. It's similar to all the other Borderlands games. So, it's fantastic. I selected a class almost randomly because I didn't have a clue about which one I should pick. It didn't matter. They're probably all good. I gave the disc back to my friend. I'll be purchasing this game through Sony PS Store when it's on sale. It's a really fun game. I played the Spellshot class, and I multiclassed with Graveborn once that got unlocked. Anyway, it's on sale for $17.49 right now on PSN. The cheapest any version of it has ever been on PSN is $14.99. You could wait to get it at that price or just buy it now.

I have incredible patience and stamina to wait it out. But Tiny Tina is definitely a game I'll eventually purchase.

Shadow Warrior 2
Why have I never heard of this game? Got awesome reviews as a ninja RPG and FPS game.

Spec Ops the Line
Another game with great reviews. Unfortunately, it's not available on PS4. It's available on other older gen platforms like PS3 but my PS3 is crippled.

Some games I own and have started playing but never finished (for a variety of reasons):
Talos Principle -- I couldn't get into the puzzles. I also didn't like the fact that solutions to some puzzles require you to find "stuff" in other locations. I'm lazy that way. It lost me once that happened. I looked up some solutions on youtube and my reaction was, "What!?!? I have to go all the way over there to get that thing to solve this here puzzle? Christ almighty!"
Control -- I don't remember why I stopped in the middle. The combat and story were decent. But sometimes, I get in a rut. I suffered from video game ennui at the time.
Prey -- Critically acclaimed game. It was too damn slow for me.
Far Cry 5 -- I don't know why I stopped. I think it just stopped getting interesting to me.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt -- Everyone calls this a masterpiece. I couldn't get into it. The combat mechanics were unsatisfying. The story was boring. Everything about this game was a turn-off for me. I'm probably in the 0.00035 percentile of all gamers who feel this way.
God of War -- Same as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. This game is supposedly a masterpiece. I couldn't get into it at all. I quit around the time they were carrying that bodyless head around and Kratos and the kid (Atreus) got separated.
Inside -- I still play now and then. I can't sustain my interest in it for extended periods of time.
Limbo -- See Inside (above).
Guacamelee -- I don't know why I bought this game. Oh yeah...good reviews and it was cheap.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider -- I stopped around the time Lara made it to the village. I just go so bored because there wasn't a lot of fighting in this game.
Weird West -- Very interesting game but I'm currently busy sampling a whole bunch of other games. I've been distracted.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Edition -- Very boring to me. But I'll give it another go sometime later.
Shadow Tactics -- Actually, it's a very fun game but I've been distracted recently while sampling a whole bunch of other games.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
Currently collecting all the tokens. I'm at the place where I have to go from one platform to another to step on water fountains within a fixed time limit. I think there are six(6) water fountains I have to get to. This means grappling from one tower to another tower very rapidly. One wrong move and it'll cost you time and you have to start all over again. Very frustrating.
I remember a similar task in Just Cause 3 where I had to grapple from one building to another (six in total, IIRC) to turn off some device at each building -- all within a certain time limit. Aggravating!!! You have to choreograph your move perfectly and then rely on muscle memory to execute all the grapples to get them all within the allotted time. Grrrrr.....

Honestly, it shouldn't take more than a month.

i also hated the witcher 3.
god of war reboots are incredible, but the atreus sections can be tedious

talos principle was a blast. have to get a PS5 to play the sequel. Or a PC. It was pretty good. Not as good as the first one, because they didn't quite replicate the fantastic balance between the philosophy, the puzzles, and the slow reveal of the backstory.

I didn't mind the Atreus sections. God of War: Ragnarok is pretty close to being the best game I've ever played.

I finally finished the fountain section. My hands are shaking. I repeatedly performed the platform jumps w/ grapple until I got that token. Funny thing...in video games when I beat a major boss or finish a difficult puzzle section, I don't feel a sense of accomplishment like I've read other gamers talk about. None at all. I feel mostly a sense of relief that I got over that annoyingly difficult section of the game. I wonder if this reveals my attitude toward video games (or major obstacles in life). Some see it as an accomplishment while others like me see it as a relief. An accomplishment to me is finding some elegant solution to a major problem on a real life project I'm working on, whether that's work-related or some home DIY construction project.
