Yep I see now how I read it wrong. Still exciting Definitely. Gibb and Patterson should be pumped to face each other. Wish I could be there. One thing I've wanted to do for years is follow the fivb tour around for the whole summer. Anybody out there ever done it?

Why no Kerri? Thought she was playing FIVB? Guess her talks with them about changes that need to be made didn't go too well? HA!!!!!!

As annoying as I find Kerri, I wish she and April would just swallow their animosity and reunite. Its hard to imagine any of the current US teams being in the mix to win events this year.

Pool B seems ridiculously weak compared to some of the others. Interesting how Filho and Barbarosa have owned Evandro/Loyola so far this year.

Well, with the way the FIVB has staged their tournaments by stars, we may get a win somewhere. But ia a full tournament, this year may be hard. None of our teams will be seeded well to make a deep run.

Casey/Theo take out Evandro/Andre 21-19 and 21-16, winning the pool. Great win for them!

Hmm, I would say that NBC Universal is/was the best (only) bet to find FIVB matches on TV. If all else fails though, can always use the internet. I know the FIVB usually live streams its medal matches on YouTube, and then archives them afterwards. Plus, to the best of my knowledge, all of the 5-star events (and all of their matches) will be fully streamed by the Swatch Major Series Beach Stream. (Ft Lauderdale was the debut, so hopefully they've worked out some of the kinks). There's also LAOLA1.tv, although I know nothing at all about the service.
