SFA has a good shot at being a successful program if they invest in the sport. I don't think they'll be a national power but travel costs will be low with all the current programs that are around them ..easy to setup a dual or invitational.

Surprised UCSB still hasn't put in a beach program. They could be pretty competitive with not a lot of investment. |

Nicholls state adds Beach VolleyballSouthland Conference members Abilene Christian, Central Arkansas, Houston Baptist, New Orleans, Southeastern Louisiana, Stephen F. Austin and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi currently sponsor beach volleyball and the Southland plans to sponsor a beach volleyball championship event in 2020.

Beach volleyball in Santa Barbra sounds like a dream! It would be interesting to discuss most ideal schools/programs for beach volleyball from a local environment/surroundings point of view
