Looks like Hoecke and Crosson were named 1st team AAs by prepvolleyball!

Are we anticipating any more 26 recruits? We’ll probably have a sizeable 27 class, don’t know much about who’s still on the board.

I posted in the other thread by mistake; but, does anyone know much about the new recruit Kraft? Looks like a local kid.

Looks like we’re going to have a team of solid littles in the years ahead! They’re building a strong back bone for the future with the L/DS depth - makes for a tougher practice gym both for competition at the L jersey and DS spot and tougher for our offensive players to put the ball down. Moving in a good direction! 😁

Moving in a good direction! 😁 Spot on! With the addition of Kraft, that also means that we don't have to try to get 2 L/DS from the '27 class after Z and Thibault graduate. We will probably only need one and will have some great options in that '27 class. All the L/DS will be from different class years and that is what Keegan prefers to have.

The 3 that were at this summers camp were all great recruits too! Personally I hope they snag 2 from that class because I’m greedy 😁

Full match of Kraft at nationals - lib #7 in red on the far side. First couple points in she makes a fantastic dig

Seeing as we haven't seen either of them see significant playing time on a college team, who's most likely to start at opposite in say, 2026 & 2027, Schnichels or Gilk?
My guess in on Gilk.

Gilk is the most underrated player in 25 class. While Abigail Mullen and Ryan Hunter are touted as top OPP, Gilk is a highly skilled 6-rotation player and I think she’ll be a better player over her college career. Gopher fans will love her.

I just haven't gotten a great impression of Schnichels in the bit I've seen her in high school and college (mostly warm-ups?). Gilk seem smoother, a more natural athlete (lefty helpful too) and a player who can contribute off the net as well.
