Season tickets are in 109 row 8. Last year we got chairbacks , center court row 4. This year we got 109 , row 15. Not complaining, still have good seats. Just curious what changed in the selection of seats for this year. You’re not too far from me. I got 109, row 18

There was and is still a thread for tonight’s game. Found it. Thanks. My eyes read it as Maples thinking Stanford.

Last year for Christmas I asked for a GOPHER blocking team. Well, I certainly got that present.
Now for this Christmas I am asking for a GOPHER passing/digging team. I hope this wish comes true too but with a bigger bow.
Total team win tonight. GO GOPHERS!!!

I don't know how you defend that tip to over the rightside blocker. How do you ever stay in system, assuming you even dig it?

I don’t even care if we stay in system. I just wish we could get the tip up and then reset at the very least. Let the block do the work on the next transition play. Baffles me that we can’t even get those tips up [what feels like well over half the time].

Tickets for Austin can be found where? Go to the Texas website and hit the link for tickets. When I looked this morning, there were reserved seats available in section 140, which is upstairs in the corner. Gregory is small enough that even many of the GA seats above the reserved areas aren’t bad. I would avoid the upper reaches of sections 5-8, personally.

Thought: if Landfair doesn't need a DS sub, like Hart does, (ie, if both Rollins and Landfair can play all-around), then is the 6-2 double-sub the best option for next year? To get both Samedy and Miyabe on the court (in the front row obviously).
Saves a few subs in the set, and we don't get caught with a DS in the front when we run out.

This should probably be in the future of MN thread, but your suggestion is making a pretty large assumption that "need" for Miyabe in the front row outweighs the setting quality of who may be able to run a 5-1.

I thought the host site had to put certain seats aside for visiting teams (you know so everyone can sit together)?

They do, although those are typically reserved for families and others associated with the program. I don’t know if any will be available to fans in general.
