I'd hoped that we would see a continually improving MN performance
Has anyone at any time seen a ref call a throw? If so, please identify the match, the set and the score.
Plummer doesn't need the assist
I'd swear she threw two kills in the third set.
I was disappointed that MN was unwilling to pressure Stanford's serve reception. Their serve in Austin was much better.dd
Kudos to the Cardinal for excellent passing.
I thought MN's floor defense was pretty good, but their passing on the serve not so much.
Miller was bump setting on the second contacts WAY too much.
Congrats to Hart who went out with a memorable performance.
Rollins reverted to rabbit form, unwilling to attack after being stuffed early. Allowing a good opponent a free ball is a recipe for failure.
MN was true to form all season re. tips: they don't tip well and they don't cover tips well.
MN could have beaten Stanford but it would have required outperformance across the board and playing in system which they were not able to do.
imo, Morgan Rollins & McGraw underperformed.
Pittman was marginalized by poor passing and didn't seem to have many attempts.
MN overcame a lot of adversity this year and went deeper in to the tournament than most of us probably expected.
I haven't seen the stats, but Stanford is hard to beat when playing a 'normal' game. When you have opponents playing above themselves you aren't going to prevail.
