Sorry to be so ignorant, but who's Carly Snyder? Gatorgate was an infamously bad call in the NCAA tournament that saw Florida take a very good Texas squad to 5. Carly Snyder was a sophomore I believe. I thought she was ok, but only because at the time she was infuriatingly inconsistent (although I was rooting for Texas at the time). Toward the end of the match she got the hot hand and smashed a very clean kill. Like, it was in by at least 2 feet. Lines judge ruled it out, and I believe the teams switched sides. Texas went on to win 15-13 or something really close. This was before replay was a thing, and it spurred the discussion of implementing the system. So if you see people wanting a rematch of Florida/Texas, this is what they're referring to. There's a screenshot here: volleytalk.proboards.com/thread/61436/question-bad-calls-sportsmanship-scoring?page=2And more internet discussion on reddit with the specific points. Surprisingly, no videos of this match. Which is a shame because it was still an absolute barnburner. https://www.reddit.com/r/volleyball/comments/3wm3hx/floridatexas_game_decided_by_bad_ref_call_when/

If anyone wants to watch SSS play for Beziers and is also in the mood to sigh at camera work, boy do I have something for you!

Hey, this has been an entertaining season, hasn't it? You never know what you're going to get. Here's hoping the surprises to come are good ones, but I think we got our money's worth, no? You should have gotten some affirmation for this post. The team did a wonderful job pulling out matches. And I, for one, really enjoyed watching the team so often having to sort things out and seeing players like Baylee getting opportunities and just giving everything they had. With the team still getting mostly w's by hook or by crook:)

So glad our long drive was not in vain. Let's GO Gophers. Watching them in Pittsburgh would be so awesome. That's what I said to Hugh before the match. We came down to TX to help them get to PA next week.
If Louisville maintains its play level it should be a great match Saturday night.

Watching the replay. Gregory was eerily quiet.

Also, does anyone remember where Minnesota ranked in terms of B/S nationally? Because they're 8th according to last night's game. What's changed from last year?

Really happy for the whole team! I find myself being extra happy for Kylie Miller. Top rated setter out of Hs and just never really found her groove at UCLA, comes to Minnesota and starts to play really well and then injured for a large part of the season. Came back and leads the team to a final am 4. I thought she was really good today!

I agree about Kylie, 100%. I've really learned to admire the way she plays.

Also: Attention, Pac 12 setters who will be seniors for the 2020 season. Every time the Gophers gets a senior Pac 12 setter transfer, they go to the Final Four. Please consider this.

miller & the rest of the team have really improved their serving for the NCAAs which has fed the block & defense/transition for points. rollins has become a tool master even OOS which is a wonderful improvement.
