I thought the host site had to put certain seats aside for visiting teams (you know so everyone can sit together)? They do, although those are typically reserved for families and others associated with the program. I don’t know if any will be available to fans in general. There are only 200 and unless you are in a secret society (maybe Minnesota has one), you can't get them. |

Hey, this has been an entertaining season, hasn't it? You never know what you're going to get. Here's hoping the surprises to come are good ones, but I think we got our money's worth, no?

Hey, this has been an entertaining season, hasn't it? You never know what you're going to get. Here's hoping the surprises to come are good ones, but I think we got our money's worth, no? Beat Florida. No reason not to.
Anything after that is gravy.

Are you referring to the Bowman/Roerig/Peniata team that played Florida on their home court? If so, I remember that fondly. The announcers were knowledgeable and passionate, but they thought the Gators were going to dominate, and they had little respect for Minnesota. I remember phrases like "Are you kidding me?", or similar. Listening to them have a meltdown was half the fun. I just wish we would have beat Nebraska the next night, after being ahead 2-0. (At least that's my memory, which is suspect lately.) |

Actually, I meant the one where it was BTN student (I think) produced and "Adalla Rommins" was having a good match (this past preseason). Match was taken down from Youtube. However, I think I've heard a Florida commentator make similar "are you kidding me" comments in a Texas A&M match (5 setter) and he sounded so disappointed when A&M got a point or Florida got called for something. Indeed knowledgeable except got painfully biased in the fifth. I'd like Missy back for Florida matches.
