Just FYI, I get to watch BYU commit Makayla Tolman tomorrow play locally. She is a super long lefty that I have enjoyed watching over the last couple of years -- anxious to see if she has improved. Can't wait to see what H.O. does with yet another lefty.

This is mildly amusing and/or may make you feel old, as some of the players on the team weren't even born in the 90s yet.
Edit: Their reaction to seeing a young Heather Olmstead (they all call her "Heather," apparently, which I find endearing) is great.

Can't wait to see what H.O. does with yet another lefty. I never did report back...Tolman is good, very long and heavy left arm--to me has an Amy Boswell type qualities to her. I hadn't seen her in a year and she had definitely improved. Glad BYU is getting her. |

I enjoyed that. Sooo glad we have HO. She always makes me feel better about my BYU volleyball anxiety. IMO, this could be one of her better coaching jobs. |

Edit: I just realized I misspelled his name. It's "Dickson," not "Dixon." My apologies to him. I have gone back and fixed this in previous posts also. |

Darnell Dixon has written an article about the team's passing efforts and passing in volleyball in general for the Provo Herald. I thought Madi Robinson had some nice quotes. Dixon continues to be the best volleyball reporter in the state; and this may be his best article he has ever done on volleyball.
