Are all of the teams in hotels connected to the convention center? If not, they'd still have busses to get around each day. I don't know where all the teams are staying. There are four convention-center style hotels across the street from the Arena, plus another half dozen regular hotels within three or four blocks. Depends how much walking a team wants their players & staff doing down there. If I had the choice, as a coach, I'd bus them just to be safe. Agreed. Or I'd at least have a bus. If the weather is nice, I might walk a block or two but you want the bus there if you need it.

Eppley Airfield (Omaha's airport) is maybe five minutes from the Arena, so that's quite possible. Are all of the teams in hotels connected to the convention center? If not, they'd still have busses to get around each day. I believe Minnesota is staying in the same Hotel as Nebraska, the downtown Marriott which is 0.4 mi from CHI Health Arena.

Maybe the NCAA rented a fleet of buses to shuttle teams from the airport. They could have flown but still needed a way to get to their final destination. They did. They got so many that the company had to bring in some of their buses from Denver and Kansas City. There was a tweet for it but I cant find it now

I believe Minnesota is staying in the same Hotel as Nebraska, the downtown Marriott which is 0.4 mi from CHI Health Arena. There are two Marriott hotels there - one literally right across the street, and the Courtyard which is two blocks away. I'd presume they're at the convention center across from the Arena. If they're at the other one, if I'm Cook, I'm having a shuttle bus ready and not making my team cross Dodge Street. Even at the tail end of the street by the river, there's enough traffic I wouldn't want my team dealing with.

Did they bus all the way there (6hr drive)?? Bummer, if so. NCAA pays for flights for trips over 400 miles. Looks like Minneapolis to Omaha is 383 miles. They could've paid for the flight themselves, but probably not worth it to save a couple hours. Not to mention, when you have a volleyball team on a 50+ seat bus, everybody gets two seats (if not an entire row). For tall people, that gives a lot more leg room than every seat being full in a little 30-person chartered flight. If the NCAA forbids schools to charter planes for <400 mile trips, then that is that. Fine.
We charter flights to Madison, Wisconsin.

They don't forbid anything. They just only pay for a bus if it's under 400 miles.

If you download Sling you can get one free week. You can watch all the games for one week. This does not get you to the final four. There are other sites you can get a free week on. For 25 dollars + tax you can get a one month subscription. However the DVR does not work on ESPN. ESPN does not allow it. I'm checking to see if more than one person can sign in on sling at the same time. Both my computer and tv work, but will check tonight if someone not in my house can watch at the same time.

These games today are on ESPN3. I would think you do not need your TV Provider for these. Find the ESPN App on your phone or laptop and download it. Once in arrow down to Channels and arrow to the right to ESPN3. Think you should be able to get the games. I could be wrong, but try it.

ESPN3 is not free, unless you’re getting ISP through an .edu or .mil domain. I don’t know if it is included with an ESPN+ subscription (would guess so), but if you subscribe to a TV package that includes ESPN, then you get it (sign in with your credentials), -OR- some ISP’s pay for it to be included with your internet service (may need to sign in with your ISP credentials).

Is it the student option for extra year of covid-19 eligibly? This is from the women's basketball team.
Hubbard, who was a fifth-year senior last year, and Bagwell Katalinich, who was a graduate transfer, are exercising their option under NCAA guidelines to compete in an extra season of competition due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Access to live programming on the ESPN3 channel of WatchESPN.com is available at no additional cost to fans with subscriptions to participating high speed internet service providers. www.espn.com/espn3/affList_____________ To clarify WHAT I HAVE - CERTAINLY NOT TRYING TO MISLEAD ANYBODY: I have Xfinity for my internet service provider. I also have a FuboTV subscription ($65 + $8 for Sports Xtra add-on monthly) so I can watch ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, and ESPNU on that app. FuboTV does offer a Free Trial. Maybe look into that. Presently watching the ESPN3 matches on my ROKU ESPN App. CAN TELL YOU FOR A FACT IT IS FREE THROUGH my Xfinity internet provider. I am not being asked for my TV Provider.

Looks like we’re playing Pitt on Sunday. Any thoughts on how this might go? I haven’t watched much of Pitt but it seems like they have a decent block and a few key players. Utah also could have had just a rough game and Pitt got lucky. Regardless, hopefully the gophs will come out on top! Hoping CC will be back soon!! And anyone else sensing Samedy as NPOY!?
