This is the vibe I got. Disappointing finish for a strong program's standards, but the youth is strong. Give it a couple more years to develop. It's not like they got swept by in the second round or something similar. I don't foresee a Minny 2014 type of thing happening, so should be well off enough at least. I would have been happy with a Sweet Sixteen run a month ago, when they were a hot mess. Thought they had figured some things out with the middle attack in the past month and maybe they could make a run to the Final Four. This one wasn't nearly as painful as the Oregon loss, but still.... Looking forward to Fall 2021. High ceiling, low floor. C'est la vie. This freshmen class will develop. Just gotta check back in 4 months. I do agree there were moments I was pretty low on the Gophers. Not because they looked bad... more like the potential was there and *just* couldn't quite get it going. That was early on-midway. Thought they started picking up some nice steam toward the end. It wasn't 100% there unfortunately. Would've loved UW/UMN to go at it. In hindsight, this was a good team that didn't get to its full potential. The 3 seed was too high but I think that was more of Texas getting bonked for the Rice loss late in the season. Otherwise, based on body of work it was a close race between Minny and Big Red for the 4 seed. Outside Wisconsin/Kentucky/Texas it was a mess to rank/seed with no non-con matches. Seeding's alway's been wack. Anyway, more middle offense and ball control in 2021 please! |

Adanna Rollins announced on her story that she is transferring. Wondering what this will look like for a VERY young team this fall. I’m thinking Hugh might give Wenaas the 6 rotation outside spot unless a freshman is promising. Sad to see Rollins go though.

I think she is the cusp of a breakout and can help out a lot of teams. Anyone have any ideas of where she could go? I know she’s from texas. |

Hopefully CC gets fully healthy for the fall. MN's starters now will likely be underclassmen everywhere except middles and the libero now right? I would love to see Landfair play six rotations not going to lie.

I like Rollins and wish her the best, but I feel like this is discussed after every season and at least she just did it and got it done with. I think the other girls on the team seem pretty close. Or appear that way on TikTok 😂.

But yes i agree it never seemed like she had great chemistry with any of the team. I wish her the best.

She has been posting some stuff on Instagram stories about how “god shouldn’t let you be in a place where you aren’t at your full potential” and “everything you’re doing now is to help the future”.
Not sure if it’s VBall related but I can imagine she probably didn’t want to play DS all year as the #3 OH recruit in the country...
Maybe she will get to play more OH next year now that Rollins is transferring? Thoughts?
