I'm surprised we haven't seen anything yet from the Michigan PR team (they might be going back and hand counting the numbers), but Paige Jones just set Michigan's single match kill record at 37 with her performance last night. She becomes just the 5th Wolverine ever to record 30+ kills, the first since Katie Brudzinski in 2007 and obliterated Sarah Behnke's 22 year old mark of 34. Wow! Patience, young grasshopper.  |

Any thoughts on this weekend? Could Michigan possibly take a game off of OSU? Or is the totally transparent "block" of the blue give OSU a field day?

Ohio State has shown they are prone to dropping sets against anyone, but they have been getting better every week and played extremely well against Nebraska. And you hit the nail on the head, with no blocking game or defensive net presence teams are firing away at will. Add on the service errors and ball control issues and we really have an uphill battle in these matches. BUT, it's the B1G and anything can happen I suppose. Michigan can certainly put the ball away on offense, if they can step up defensively they have a fighting chance. |

Hopes for completing the MSU series are dashed, but at least we get to keep the State Pride trophy. I think it's time for a trophy upgrade, btw.
