Was there ever any doubt? In any case, congrats to Texas. Sheโs gonna be very good.

Aside from her and possibly (probably) Faumauina, who else do they have? I thought McGinest also had her eyes on SC? Would make sense given her Dad is a football alum and plays on the same teams as Faumuina.... but who knows

When is that not the case? They still have not come close to a title in over 15 years.. Was there a point to this post other than to put down the program? Of course not. I don't know what exactly "come close" to a title means. The path to a title is different every year, and varies in difficulty for each team. USC made the Elite 8 SIX times this decade. 6/10. They had their best chances in 2011 and 2013, but, the ball doesn't always bounce your way. Fun fact: 5 of those 6 Elite 8 matches went 5 sets. You can't tell me every single one of those matches could have gone either way. Single-elimination tournaments are stressful. w, 3-2 2010 Stanford W, 3-2 2011 Pepp L, 2-3 2013 (Home) Washington L, 2-3 2015 Kansas L, 2-3 2017 (at)Florida

Anyone hear where Mogridge might end up? I just happened to see her on an adjacent court at a tournament last spring and ended up watching the whole match. That girl is an animal, and I mean that in the most complimentary way. There were probably five or more sure fire P5 recruits in that match, but she looked like she was in a completely different league, like she should be playing 17s or 18s as a frosh. Headed to UNC.

UNC will be rewarded for sticking with her recruitment. Some schools backed off after she blew her ACL last year. When healthy, she's a potential All-American.

Penn State doesn't have a single verbal for 2022. I know Covid has messed up recruiting and players potentially staying longer but they had the #1 recruiting class in 2018 with 5 scholarship athletes still on the roster. A lot of the blue chip recruits for 2022 are already off the board. Does anyone else think this is kind of odd?
