Erin posted this on her Instagram http://instagr.am/p/CEKfcPOAMKp There's no setter right now, so they are training with what they have lol. Hopefully Plummer and Drews can leave for Japan soon Is Hill in Italy already? Is she not in that video? I couldn’t really tell who was playing left side (on the right side of the video)

Japanese sports ministry has approved letting foreign athletes into the country. news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/f814b6789563137c0150bebe1dc4472fe8d25c9e"According to an interview with the Japan Sports Agency on the 11th, the government has decided to allow foreign athletes belonging to domestic leagues who are unable to enter Japan due to the new coronavirus. There are conditions such as strengthening the Japanese national team for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, and the B League for men's basketball and the V League for volleyball, which will start in October, will be targeted. The Tokyo tournament, which was postponed to next year, will focus on immigration control of athletes and related parties, and it is expected that acceptance measures will be taken toward the event. Considering the importance of the Tokyo tournament, the aim is to raise the competition level with the participation of foreign players.I found out by interviewing the Japan Sports Agency . Basically, Japan is fast-tracking the process of taking in the foreign athletes to strong-arm their teams' preparations for Tokyo 2021.

Hey @bigwestfan2 have you by chance done a comparison on Hannah’s stats in any of her recent seasons?
I’m curious how much she was playing or contributing but I haven’t been paying attention to her league play much lately.

Drews is on her way to Japan now. She will have to undergo a 14-day quarantine, with less than 10 days to prepare before first serve. Better than the 3 days she had last year when she had to be at NORCECA.
Tapp's boyfriend also posted on IG that she's returning to Japan.
Any leads on Plummer, Akin, and Lee?

I think Nuekjang is the perfect addition to JT Marvelous. She has an excellent a-quick and she is Thailand's best blocker. She's so much better than Anna Ogawa and her compatriot, Kaewkalaya Kamulthala, who retired from JT this year. Akutagawa and she can make a huge difference at the middle.

Hey saw post in twitter and other blogs. Shainah Joseph from Ncaa will also play in japan. I know she is not american but wondering how she performed in NCAA. She rode the bench behind an All American for three years at Florida before finally getting a chance her senior year. High jumper and can hit a heavy ball, but is pretty inconsistent. Hoping her Japanese team can help her with those consistency issues.
