That is all well and good. But, in a nation-crippling pandemic one would think people would be less territorial. I am fine maintaining a hard line between Rec and Athletics under normal circumstances. But, under abnormal circumstances, everything is fair game to me. From a bubble in the NBA to 2 bubbles in the NHL to the designated hitter in the National League...if you want sports, gonna have to give a little. Well, in a nation-crippling pandemic, one would think that intercollegiate sports is not that important in the first place. In particular sports that don’t generate revenue. May be a stretch, but after seeing real, live baseball games after months without movie theaters, restaurants, bars, etc....sports is practically essential from my perspective. Yeah, there is a different argument between professional and collegiate sports. But, if you can have sports with minimal added risk...I say that is good for everyone's general well being. Including the athletes.

COVID-19 hits the Michigan Volleyball program: "...Michigan is halting voluntary workouts for ice hockey, volleyball, swimming and diving and field hockey, an athletic department spokesperson told The Daily. Workouts have been paused because of both positive COVID-19 test results and contact tracing, according to a statement sent by the athletic department." this is exactly why there will not be a fall season. Exposure and contact tracing works if you don't see very many people, but these are college student athletes. Beyond the sports and training, there is simply way too much co-mingling between the sexes and sports. Any exposure is going to rapidly descend to other sports, halting training, practice, games etc. Why do they make this harder than it needs to be? Test positive, quarantine. Take hydroxychloroquine & zinc. Return to your sport when you test negative & are symptom free. Just as you would with the flu.

To me that means those now unfortunately positive will be good until almost Nov.

If only this was as simple as you are trying to make it.

Why can’t it be this simple? You mean apart from there being no evidence of hydroxychloroquine working at all? I guess you missed the press conference a couple days ago where 12 or so doctors all stated they have each treated hundreds of patients with hydroxychloroquine and ALL have survived. Even those with heart disease and diabetes. It’s unfortunate that Fauci and social media don’t want us to know the truth so they censored and deleted these videos.

Well first and foremost because hydroxychloroquine hasn't been shown to work in published studies (including one using 55 hospitals and published last week) and therefore was pulled as a treatment option by the FDA. There are numerous other problems, but that is the most striking in your statement.

You mean the same doctor that said you can get pregnant in your sleep from demon sperm? Ya, I won't trust her over the medical and research professionals worldwide including Dr. Fauci who has been the leading infectious disease expert in the world for the last 30 years and honored by every president.

It can be simple. You can test and if positive you quarantine that 1 athlete until they test negative 2 times. As long as the other athletes test negative they play. That is the protocol of some schools. Not sure why these P5 schools don’t do it Most players who do test positive have almost zero symptoms. And can return quickly.
It could be done but I’m afraid all the miss information and politics will keep this from being a simple process.

Source on the sperm? The same Dr. Fauci who has been preaching masks but chose to take his down while sitting shoulder to shoulder with two others. “Do as I say, not as I do.”

A dozen or so "doctors" post their "research" on YouTube instead of the Lancet or New England Journal of Medicine? We have to take their word for it instead of being able to look at their methodologies and actual results? Sounds legit to me! Get me some Hydro!

Ironic that you're complaining about misinformation and both you and lo4um are saying how simple the process is given that you're both sharing misinformation... Once you have the virus you can still test positive for up to 8 weeks after the initial infection. Any negative tests you have during that time are often false-negatives. Be careful of sharing bad info, folks!
