Exactly. And yes, I would think a person sitting next to someone with a fatal peanut allergy, who is told of the allergy, but goes ahead and eats his nuts, is a GIANT a-hole. pretty much how I think of the people who go into public stores that have posted notices masks must be worn and refuse to acknowledge/wear a mask. If you have a serious condition that prevents it, fine, but the guy at the grocery store on sunday who 1st went into the tobacco store and came out with carton of reds, and THEN the grocery store... Him? he is a A$$#OLE!!! If a store has a mask mandate - and someone walks into the store w/o a mask - than that is totally wrong. Does this happen? Everywhere I have been with a sign saying masks in the building are mandatory has had 100% compliance. Absolutely happens in my area. I have been in stores with this posted and cops have had to be called to remove the person/s who refuses. Stores have actually stopped having employees say anything because those who refuse to wear masks are so belligerent. It has gotten much better in past 2-4wks, but there are still the small percentage that refuse. And when it is a family of 3 or 4, as I have seen at times, I struggle with it being a health issue that prevents it.

Now I really want to know why the B1G canceled because if it really came down to "science" then why are high school kids playing?

Which is even more confusing. At this point and based on what I'm hearing. The B1G will play this fall so I guess the pressure from everyone worked

I just try to avoid them. I don't want to cause a scene but it does annoy me that I avoid stores that don't require masks (bc I have co-morbidities but mostly bc I'm caring for someone who is extremely high risk) yet still often run into customers (and sometimes store employees) who either aren't wearing a mask, have it on their chin or have their nose completely sticking out. It doesn't work if you don't cover your nose and mouth, ppl! (I'm pretty sure they know that but don't care.)

Noise was never going to be a consideration compared to the revenue involved, the health risks present or the potential liability concerns.

If there worry was mainly about the aftermath the virus causes in young people and they were presented with science that says so I am sure the governor of Ohio was presented with the same "science" and still decided to play. Honestly as long as the big 12 is playing than I am fine and once the big 12 succ8 finds a way to play then the B1G will be under hell fire

If the Big 12, in taking the riskier route, doesn't have any problems, then the B1G, who took the more cautious route, "will be under hellfire." That's really positive and productive thinking.
