Is UH going to do a press release about how Emily Maglio is participating in League of Nations volleyball? Team Canada takes on Brazil on May 25th. I hope so. Best of luck to Emily and Team Canada. |

Anybody have any highlights on Annika DeGoede? She is a lefty, and a true opposite. We haven't had a lefty in that position since Diana Jessie. You are forgetting that we had Angel Gaskin. She didn't necessarily live up to her billing, but she was a fun player to watch, especially after not having a lefty at Opposite for decades...literally. I was glad she transferred in because our options at the right side were pretty slim back then. I am really excited about Coach Ah Mow and her staff bringing back the European flair. Growing up watching Wahine Volleyball it was always fun to watch their physical style of play and then to hear them get interviewed on TV with their accents! |

Yes. We (UH) will not get one of them for sure. FUN FACT: Jhenna Gabriel, Saige Ka'aha'aina-Torres, & Devin Kahahawai, at one point, all attended Maryknoll Schools at the same time. Which one? Saige...and contrary to other posters' beliefs, she was never coming to Hawai'i. We didn't necessarily need her with two setters on the roster and one on the way. Would she have been a stronger option? Yes. Either way, I am happy for her and I am happy with the recruits we have and the ones we are getting. |

Would she have been a stronger option? Yes. Either way, I am happy for her and I am happy with the recruits we have and the ones we are getting. We didn't offer her out of high school and she has a chance to start for one of the favorites to win the National Title in the fall. Honestly I would have picked Texas too. |

They really didn't have any problems last season, but their biggest position upgrades now would be at Setter and then RS. I don't disagree that we know how their season will turn out lol. But picking up another player whose been there before and knows how to win might help. |

Just remember that the BVS transfer was announced as late as July |
