Off topic a little…..very interesting seatings there in that arena. They have seats that only come up to the lower back. No back support at all. Never seen seats like that before.
Back to match….those Polish OHs are solid. Even if Maryna is not getting too much PT, she will benefit from playing at that level.

U20 Poland v Italy. Not sure if we'll see more Leoniak, but fingers crossed Italy pulled away in the 1st and 4th sets. Leoniak was plugged in. I project her as a starter for UH but the coaches have some work to do. Hitting right into the block, shanked balls here and there. All good experience for Leoniak nonetheless |

I've got a good feeling about Leoniak when she gets on court in Hawai'i. There will be a learning curve, but she's not a wilting flower. She's energized. And she is going to feed off of Igiede's energy.

The level of play at the U20 is probably a little to high for her. She is only 17 so I’m still optimistic that she will be able to succeed her freshman year here. Just being able to practice and face that level of competition will definitely help.

I have a feeling that Coach ANGELICA LJUNGQVIST would of gave Coach Robyn heads up about her decision before they made it public, and the hunt is already going on for a replacement.
