I'm not worry about their setting. If Chavira is healthy, they will be just fine. Mia would've been a great addition, they were looking at Chavira as a hitter, she is a very talented player that can set and hit. But with the players coming in for the Beach, Chavira will now have to focus mainly on just running the offense. According to the Big West thread, Chavira likely won’t be more than a backup setter if not a hitter full time. Beach brought in an international setter, i believe a Polish National like Martyna. Chavira is going to play. I don't see any other setter on the roster with experience like her. This setter from Poland? She is not on the current roster. |

I think Chavira is a great player and think she has what it athletically to do good things for the Beach. I haven’t looked into where the info is coming from as far the Polish transfer they supposedly have coming in(maybe playing in the U20 games rn?) but I just want to see competitive teams in the Big West if the majority of the Wahine season is going to be that. |

The player I want to see the most is Westerberg. I think she would do well as an Opp, who can run the slide like McNeal from Texas. Mia will be fun to watch too. Hawaii for sure has options, and well just have to wait and see how they work out. Has anyone seen the girls as of late on the island? |

Has anyone seen the girls as of late on the island? I work at Ala Moana Shopping Center and I never see any of the Rainbow Wahine out and about. Years ago I used to see Nikki Taylor, Mckenna Granato & Casey Castillo all the time at a Starbucks. I've even seen Colton Cowell too. The corona thing could be one reason to not to hang around crowds. I think the girls lately tend to hang around the beach, which is safer and more beneficial due to being outdoor and getting loads of vitamin D. Ala Moana also has turned into a tourist destination with all the high end shops. Also probably told to avoid Ala Moana because they will get stopped repeatedly and get bothered by fans. Get ask to sign autographs and touch contaminated pens. Refusal to sign will make them look “mean”. I have seen Brooke, Kyra and a few of the beach players at Queens Beach during my morning jogs. |

Leoniak played most of the 3rd set. Some nice 6 rotation play. Didn't get stuff blocked as much

I think we should all have faith in the girls. From what I understand there level of fitness has gone through the roof. I believe there is a stronger fire with the girls now than ever before. Keep the faith and never doubt our girls.

I think BW TV used to carry all conference WVB games, even if they were static camera feeds. I wonder if ESPN+ will do the same, or whether we will only get to see some of the games. |
