Yes it is but we have no idea and we have already mentioned a few names. Guessing the lineup is more fun. Also throwing a monkey wrench into the situation is someone mentioning that UH is advertising the position as a “Temporary “position, which will even shrink the pool of applicants. I know assistants work on one year contracts BUT you don’t want to be in a position where you get the job, do a good job and then get let go when Ang comes back. You bet when Ang is ready, she will get her job back. What makes you so sure she’ll be back? Not sure….but I hope. It’s kind of odd for the university to advertise for a “Temporary “ position. If that coach is doing a great job, just renew his/her contract, if not…then don’t renew it. If they put “temporary “ in there, there have got to be some kind of catch to it. I think it might be temporary because it is so close to the season and RAM needs to fill the position. Then once the season is over, advertise for a permanent assistant. Typically at the end of the season, coaches are looking to move, not so much right before the season starts. I would think they have a candidate in mind already and the posting is just a formality. |

As abruptly as it happened I think anyone with some sense can reasonably put together what might be going on but most are respectful and not going to outright say it. Let’s hope that we see her back with the Wahine but for her and her family’s sake, not too soon. Yes, I have but just not sure. It sounds like she may be gone for a while. I get what you’re saying, however i think there will always be a place for Coach Ang if she wanted it within the Wahine program Oh I totally agree. It will probably be a while but I’m sure she’ll be welcomed back with open arms and a lei. Whenever that may be. The difficulty will be finding an immediate replacement with of her caliber that will be willing to take on the position temporarily knowing it may not be a long term position. And also then there’s the pay 💰…….. |

It’s probably too late for us this season but for 2022 we’ll have new uniforms! I’ve only seen the new green ones that they were supposed to wear this past year which were pretty nice
Edit: The volleyball teams will get new uniforms this season

I prefer the older gear with a splash of yellow, red/orange, plus prime green. None of this whatever-shade-green that is and black.

I’ve seen these really cool fade sublimated jerseys where they start off dark green at the top of the shoulders to just below the chest then gradually fades to light green at the bottom of the jersey. Okay maybe it’s just my meds talking

Maybe later they'll go more crazy and add rainbow and floral/leaf designs? The chest area right above the word “Hawaii” is bare. They could stitch the Rainbow logo there. They could also put the rainbow logo on the shorts. |
