I agree with this. Massey is their best player. I would have never believed they could even win a game off WA without Massey. Especially because they are so much better when in system getting the middles going. Hopefully she is back soon. Found out the reason Massey was missing. "Grace was exposed to a person with covid. So she has to quarantine - even though she is testing negative, And has been very covid cautious. This was the first set/match she has missed and is very frustrated not to be with the team." So, I guess she will miss two weekends worth of games. Bummer for OSU. Sucks. I guess in a way it's no different from "so-and-so suffered an ankle injury in practice and will be out of competition for a few weeks". |

i don’t understand how he hasn’t been fired yet, he isn’t successful and on top of it all of this? These girls deserve wayyyy better I also want to add that UW has at 0 transfers in the past 5 years.... OSUs number in insanely high |

Full schedule out. No home preseason games unfortunately, but a schedule that gives them a couple tougher teams for a challenge, and a few easier teams to get their bearings.

Any updates on injuries? Are all 4 pins expected to be good to go in the Fall? To my knowledge all are healthy. Plus they added two new freshmen outside hitters, Vivian Light and Emily Bourne, a libero/setter Ryan White, and another setter Ashlyn Beaver. It's possible one of these OH will practice MB position as well in case one of their middles gets injured. I expect Ryan White and Emma Villaluz will be competing for the primary DS spot to take over for Massey next year. Tkachenko is still in the Ukraine, but her bio says OSU VB, so looks like she is returning. Let's hope her consistency improves this year, otherwise the freshmen OHs will look to step in for her. |
