Our serve & pass game has been a mess. This team can't win Big Ten with the passing rotations it's playing Where is Kraft?! She was the best backrow player Wisconsin had by far last weekend. I think she starts tomorrow.

Gregorski had some good moments in the backrow near the end of that set. Steady passes. Wisconsin Need Gregorski to serve if at all possible. Might be difficult to do with sub limitations

Rutgers gets better every year. They have been pretty solid. Have gotten some luck as well. Badgers had no SEs that set. May be the first time this year. But they also didn't really have any serving runs.

That was a nice dig by Kraft.

12-6 badgers after a Barnes ace. Badgers have 8 aces and 6 SEs. Haggerty with three SAs.

Cieslik having a good match. She has often impressed me when I've watched Rutgers.

How did the line judge call that out?

Ends on a Rutgers SE. Badgers have played better. Lots of attack errors. Badgers only hit 0.268. They basically halved their attacking efficiency in each set. You have to give it to Rutgers. They played inspired D.

It looked ugly, the stats weren't great. But, Sheffield mixed up the lineup quite a bit. Hard to know what to read into the performance.

I was only able to listen, so I heard the post-match radio. Sheffield was not happy with the effort the team put in tonight, which is why all the subs were happening. He was looking for players to come in and be that energy spark because no one seemed fully dialed into the match. When asked if anyone provided that, his answer was straight up: "no."

That's pretty strong as Sheffield goes.

Top-ranked Badgers sweep Rutgers despite 'uneven' play“Not overly pleased with our effort, especially starting out the match,” Sheffield said. “I didn’t think we played particularly well. I didn’t like the start where they score on three overpasses and two other balls we were celebrating when they were busy digging the ball and fighting to keep the ball up in the air.” He isn't wrong
