My guess is the COVID pauses for Wisconsin really affected them, hence their suspect play in recent matches. Just looking at it objectively, the team that has played with pretty much no stops since October probably was going to be more tested and in shape and ready to make a post season run. I really wanted Wisconsin to win, but my gut was telling me Texas was going to take the match tonight. I'm wondering if the seniors for Wisconsin will come back? I think the program is headed in a great direction. They have some great incoming talent and good talent on the bench as well. The ole blame the pandemic. Who had this on their bingo card? Oh everybody. Um, I blame Texas playing better than them, having fixed their first 2 contact issues. I think I made that clear earlier in the match. |

Wisconsin reminded me of how Minnesota has looked in their last few semis. Glimmers of hope, but ultimately can’t get it done. Nebraska was tougher. Penn state was tougher. Great. What does that have to do with what I said. |

Can people stop saying the Big 10 is the best conference now. They aren't at this point. No Big 10 team in the Finals, and only one was in the Final 4. Lol what. Big10 is no question the best conference. Which other conference would you say is better? |

So is Big 10 still the “arguable” best conference in the country? 🤔 Queue the Covid excuses....no team, no conference was exempt from the pandemic. No doubt it sucked. |

I’m certainly grateful for this crop of seniors, but I’m very excited for the future and 2020 and 2021 classes. |

Our serving really held up. Limited our SEs, disrupted their offense with poor passing caused by tough serves, and on our side both of our middles had over double digits in kills and hit over 0.600.

I know you don't like him, clearly, but a lot of the bugaboos that have hurt them over the years seem fixed tonight, which is not happy making for me. He has a former Olympian in Sullivan and brought on Morris afteer he was fired from Netherlands National Team... add in two or three world class athletes.... I think thats a nice safe start for any program. Honestly I dislike him for these reasons: He's never had to work for anything, USC was given to him, so was TX job. He's a rich boy that grew up in the Palisades and when he didn't to play at Pepperdine he transferred to Hawaii or CSUN...I forgot the chain of schools. I hate people that never worked for anything and are given positions because of their legacies and privilege. |
