He has a former Olympian in Sullivan and brought on Morris afteer he was fired from Netherlands National Team... add in two or three world class athletes.... I think thats a nice safe start for any program. Honestly I dislike him for these reasons: He's never had to work for anything, USC was given to him, so was TX job. He's a rich boy that grew up in the Palisades and when he didn't to play at Pepperdine he transferred to Hawaii or CSUN...I forgot the chain of schools. I hate people that never worked for anything and are given positions because of their legacies and privilege. I never met him... how is he as a person? DB.... and not Diamondbacks. |

Texas should create their own conference... schools over there are pretty strong and plenty to create their own conference... I don’t know what you would call that conference but I can DEFINITELY see a conference which mostly have Texas teams... I know it’s never going to happen but worth mentioning it...

Finally realized he can import a Libero from the B1G and pick up an already well-coached DS from a die-hard vball family to fix the passing woes.  Oh, you mean recruiting? Yeah, most head coaches recruit. |

Don't worry. Conference realignment in another couple of years will probably shift Texas into the SEC or B1G . . .  I can see Texas in SEC... I don’t know about B1G... We received an invitation from the B1G several years ago. So, I believe that door is not closed. |

Wisconsin never wants to face O’Brien in the tourney again... at Illinois or Texas. She has another year of eligibility if she wants to return next season . . . |

When they kept saying that O'Brien transferred to Texas.....not exactly true. Elliot found her in grad school (had no idea she enrolled at Texas) and asked if she'd like to walk on. |

I can see Texas in SEC... I don’t know about B1G... We received an invitation from the B1G several years ago. So, I believe that door is not closed. Oh shut the front door!!! That’s a good club to be part of! I do know though B1G will try to get into markets... that’s why weak Rutgers is there for example (weak in volleyball of course)... |

I still wonder who told Elliott that O'Brien would be attending grad school at Texas.
I recall him stating later that she then had to formally enter the transfer portal since she originally had no intentions of continuing to be a student-athlete while attending grad school.
