ROFL It had to take a lot of thought to break that many rules of graphic design in one post. I bet the social media people had a blast making this.

How John Cook Built the Huskers Into a National Powerhouse What he’s done is nothing short of incredible but he didn’t build them into a national powerhouse. he says in the first minute he took over a program that was consistently going to final fours, which makes them a national powerhouse. I 100% believe he improved upon what Pettit built, but Pettit built it.

Happy for Kubik- she has really put this team on her back during this stretch. Nice to see her step up and get some recognition.

I’ll also give a shout-out to Krause. No honors this week, but her consistency has remained. Freshman took the reigns on RS and has really come around.

Kind of mind boggling to see that Nicklin, who has been a stalwart at setter for 3 plus years just won her first Setter of the Week for the Big 10. Nice to see her, Maddie, and Roddy recognized this week.

Nice to see her, Maddie, and Roddy recognized this week. Look at the setters who have been in the league during her career. Also Nebraska has really never been a team that sets the world on fire offensively, which is pretty much how you win that award.

And don't forget the bizarre, obsessive and creepy comments Hames gets from some of the VT posters on a daily basis. The truth is, her resume speaks for itself but that doesn’t stop people from calling for her to be replaced between every point. Does anyone not think that if Cook thought that Orr would make this team better she would be the setter? Does anyone not think Cook would have went transfer portal hunting for a setter if she wasn’t setting at the level he and Tyler want? After the 2019 season Cook clearly believed ds/passing had to improve, and the next thing we know Miller is out and Akana was in. Cook’s actions this year verify he lives by his often said words that he plays who he and his staff believe are the best. Rodriquez was better and she replaced a two year libero . . . Batenhorst was better and a two time AA is now on the bench. Hames is a two-time first team all-B1G setter who set her team within 4 points of a national champion-as a freshman, but she would be on the bench in a second if Cook thought another player on his bench could do better. We’ll see how it goes. 🏐

Which part of the many times he has said this escapes your ability to understand his words? ❓❓ She is and has been a 100% participant in practice since the first week of practice. Please stop making up what he says. Hames is playing because she is the best setter Nebraska has. Hames is also playing because she is meeting the performance level Cook and Hildebrand are looking for…if she wasn’t she would not be playing. . . At this point the Hames discussion is amusing. . . 🏐

At this point the Hames discussion is amusing. . . 🏐 He’s repeatedly said she was 100 % healthy from day 1? I haven’t heard him say that, if you could direct me to where he did. I do know One of his very first press conferences on hail varsity he said outright that she was not quite there yet physically to compete with Hames and said specifically she was not 100% participant day one and the needed to monitor her. You accused me of making things up he said, I didn’t, he said it and referenced when he did. When Hames herself was injured they could only play Orr partially because cook said directly that they had to manage her physically. Yet according to you she was 100% healthy from day one. I have no idea what Orr’s status is currently, And regardless they wouldn’t make a setting change now. As someone who follows pretty closely, I have not heard Cook refer to Orr as 100% healthy from day 1 let alone repeatedly, if he has, you can point out where and I’ll stand corrected. Anyway, I love Hames and defend her against the ridiculous bashing’s she gets on here. Having said, she hasn’t been great this year, and even Cook has said when they were struggling her play wasn’t good enough.

When Hames herself was injured they could only play Orr partially because cook said directly that they had to manage her physically. Yet according to you she was 100% healthy from day one. I have no idea what Orr’s status is currently, I am certain she has not always this season from day one been physically ina position to take over full time setting duties, Cook said as much. I’m not making up what he said, he said it. As someone who follows pretty closely, I have not heard Cook refer to Orr as 100% healthy let alone repeatedly, if he has, I’ll stand corrected. Having said, she hasn’t been great this year, and even Cook has said when they were struggling her play wasn’t good enough. You are someone who listens but doesn’t hear. . . I suggest going back to one of his Monday pressers or one of the post match pressers-he was asked directly about Orr. . . And this time, “listen”. Seemingly, you are attempting reinvent listening. . . Most lazy people think they listen but don’t really hear much, but you, you listen and fail to hear, but you cover up you laziness, by making up the words you failed to hear. . . Nice. He said Orr was 100% and totally healthy at least 3 times in the past 3 weeks.. . This time listen and hear. . . life is easier if you do…promise. . . so we’ll see how it goes.
