Yeah, they're everywhere. Mya Larson is going to kill it at Montana State. I wish she would've accepted the walk-on offer at Nebraska. #37 in her class and she’s going to Montana State? Or is 37 generous? (From PrepDig) Depends on what you're using her for. She wanted to continue to hit, so Montana State makes some sense. She can be a star there. If she wanted to be a DS and serving specialist, then she's good enough for the Big Ten.

You can’t get every good player that is from around your state lol. Idk why that’s hard to understand. Plus Starks is fantastic but she isn’t like Stivrins good. Right, I can see her not being up to Nebraska standards. But Creighton has had middle problems for multiple years now imho. Similarly, she also fell off the radar of a place like Kansas, Iowa State, the middle B1G schools, all of whom seem to recruit here.

Nothing to do with 2021 but dear lord did anyone follow Morgan Broekhuis during HS/prep? Somebody was posting the top rankings per class the other day tracing back a decade or so. How on Earth was she the #2 recruit lol. I feel like in all the time I watched her she never took a hard swing at the ball

She was taller than most of her peer group, actually had good coordination and agility, could do just about everything included playing setter, but they didn't account for her passive nature and lack of upper body strength.

Some have moved around positions, but they had Ballenger, Hickman, Welty, and Reinhardt. Remmes is coming next year and they could conceivably move Magill to middle as well.

Creightons middles all have been stellar or exceeded expectations.

My friends used to joke that Ballenger wasn't a middle, she was the 2nd Opposite because she never actually hit or blocked from the middle position. It worked when they had Dimke there, but subsequent setters have been shorter and having that MB1 stay on the right side all the time has stressed their blocking against certain teams. Hickman was absolutely no offensive threat for her first two years. I'm excited to see that she's improved a lot this year and Creighton seemed more balanced this year than in past years. Wisconsin runs a similar scheme and keeps Rettke on the right almost all the time, but I wonder if that's just because she can be a bit slow to close at times.

Krause and Premier won their pool today at 18s nationals, including a 2-0 win over Kendra Wait's MAVS team. Linda still rocking it in the bro jersey.
Playing for all the marbles tomorrow.

I see Nebraska having a mixed year. I mean with their talented freshman class and the experience they will have coming into next year, I see them doing really well. But, I still feel like next year in the BIG TEN there is going to be so much competition.
