Now being reported as confirmed by local radio (KLIN) Hildebrand: “Stivrins is coming back”What has taken longer than many in Husker Nation had hoped has finally come out: All-American Lauren Stivrins is coming back for an extra season with Nebraska volleyball. Jeremy Anderson, Sports Director at KCSR Radio, asked Associate Head Coach Tyler Hildebrand about a Stivrins return. Hildebrand then broke the news to about 25 attendees in Chadron during the Big Red Blitz Wednesday. “Lauren Stivrins is coming back,” Hildebrand said. Stivrins is a three-time All-American. This past season, she was a unanimous All-Big Ten First Team selection. Stivrins joins fellow senior-returner Lexi Sun in taking advantage of an extra season of eligibility from the NCAA due to the COVID-19 pandemic. |

I wonder had Lauren not gotten injured and had to rehab til August had she chosen to move on? Glad she is back.
