Well we know Cook isn’t a stranger to benching returning starters so maybe we’ll see both Batenhorst and Krause in the starting line up this fall 🤪

Got to see a bit of camp. Some things: A few notable 2023s there -- - Ella Swindle
- Caroline Jurevicius
- Brooklyn DeLeye
- Bergen Reilly
- Sydney Helmers
There were a few Skyline players in there, and a pair from Mizuno Long Beach.
Two of our 2021s participated in live reps with the campers: Rylee Gray and Whitney Lauenstein. Whitney played opposite.
All the 2022 commits were there.
Sizable contingent of current players were there, most of whom were helping out with the camp. I remember seeing Gray, Lauenstein, Hames, Sun, Caffey, Schwarzenbach, Orr, and Stivrins.
Andi Jackson too. Very athletic middle with a live arm. Very exciting prospect, imo. Just on pure athletic ability, she's a take if she wants in. http://instagr.am/p/COA1d-qJBb6 http://instagr.am/p/CIoQ3M5J3xm Any guesses on why no Murray or Bunton at the camp?

Pierce is a really good 2024. Fresh off a championship with Dynasty. Humphrey is also a 2024.
I believe DiVita is a 2026. Some players want to get that big experience early. Heck, I saw a 2027 play six rotations for a 16s team this year.

Krause & Batenhorst showing their hitting prowess. Batenhorst continues to impress with serve receive and defense. Very agile & reactive player. I think batenhorst is a very nice player but I can’t believe anyone could have watched the last U20 match and thought she was impressive in serve receive and defense.

(where her receive was impressive the first two matches)

Turkey is the most aggressive and best serving team in the tourney. It was a step up for all of them and a learning experience.

Any guesses on why no Murray or Bunton at the camp? Harper is already in decision mode. I haven't heard much about Bunton and Nebraska in awhile. Not sure how aggressively they're still recruiting her or where they stand? I'll find out.

She's the best player in the whole tournament (senior NT level for the Dutch) and has a monster serve.

I know Swindle also camped in Wisconsin recently, so start your fights accordingly.

She could start immediately and for 4 years at a lot of places. The reality is if Orr DOESN'T redshirt, she will be on campus until the 2024 season. If she DOES, she will be on campus until the 2025 season. Swindle is a 2023. We can all do the math

It goes to show you that while serving and receiving are important, a team can win this part of the game and still get swept 3-0 unless they are solid in all aspects of the game.
