That's good to hear. We could use her in 2023. One thing that seems to bother me, is that we can't seem to nab any talent from Texas, while PSU, Nebraska, Ohio State, Purdue and Minnesota have all recruited well out of Texas. Is Mafison too liberal for these athletes? I am mystified as to why we can't nab a Texan. I highly doubt that’s the issue, as Minnesota is more liberal than Wisconsin, and Lincoln, Columbus, and Happy Valley are themselves little blue dots in the middle of redder areas. Austin, Houston, and Dallas are also pretty liberal areas. It’s more likely lack of any kind of established pipeline from those areas. It’d just take one or two players to come from there and then it seems plausible for others to go.

Any idea which recruits we had visit during the Minnesota match on Friday? Prior to the match Dildine brought both girls from the stands and had them sit on the bench during warm ups. They moved to behind the bench during the match, and both looked to have brought multiple family members with them.

I don't remember who or where I read or heard, but one of them was Ella Wrobel?

Considering what's going on with women's reproductive rights in Texas, we have to assume that Byrd and Swindle were NOT concerned with that issue when they chose UT over UW.

The thought crossed my mind, too, though I’m not thinking, writing, talking, or feeling anything political, mods 😉 ETA: I don’t think women’s reproductive health should have anything to do with politics

Your keyboard politics and speculation about these young women and an entire state have no place on this board. Consider yourself reported.

This is pretty disgusting.

If Barnes had not gotten DPOY, I would have been upset. Also, while the increase in opponents' hitting percentages since Hart's injury is concerning, it is still pretty impressive to be holding opponents under .200.
