He is quite often coughing and clearing his throat during the press meetings. My guess is season allergies.

This is not the Sheffield I know in this presser. He appears fatigued, almost in pain. Man, this is the tone/energy/look of every one of his pressers I can remember. I'm not seeing a difference. Sometimes you can tell he's really fired up because he mildly chuckles a couple of times. |

Yeah, seems the same. Or the same for November. Actually, better. Usually in November he has a terrible cold and looks terrible. So the mask wearing may have saved him from a cold! I think eliminating dairy might be helpful too Sheff. Ummmmmmm….Possibly a move seen as treasonous in the state of Wisconsin. 😅 |

(This gets to volleyball soon, I promise) Last week there were articles about how Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love's girlfiend had really lousy seats to Kansas City Arrowhead Stadium to see Love make his first NFL start. Last night I happened to click on a follow-up article on how her seats at Lambeau Field are better, etc. And that article referred to her, Ronika Stone, as "a volleyball player". The name didn't ring a bell - though it should have - so I googled her. Four year starter at MB for Oregon, 2016-2019. Career leader in hitting % at Oregon. 2018 second team All-American. And most notably for Badger VB fans, a 20 kill, .500 hitting performance as #15 seed Oregon knocked off #2 seed Minnesota in the 2018 NCAA tournament. Suddenly, I'm a much bigger Jordan Love fan!  |

That just seems odd. I'd imagine there is more to the story than we will ever know. When we pulled Hilley out of Minnesota, there was at least the immediate playing time angle. Hopefully they are laying some serious groundwork for 2024. They look to have the immediate talent for the near future, before a serious restocking is needed. They also currently appear a little short on depth for the next couple of years, but that shouldn't be a major issue. Wurcherer was never offered so I don’t think we can say she backed out of anything. People in the board were pleading with sheff and the staff to make a move and offer her as early as her 7th grade year. I remember that much. We had discussions about it. But my memory is that about that time the staff had started to move away from making such early offers. Hugh hadn’t. She was never interested in Wis Source? Directly from her and her dad when I asked |

Nice article on GREGORSKI in WSJ today? She was a top 150 recruit per Prepvollyball.com. i love the fun energy she brings to the table. I hope her injuries completely heal, she would provide depth at OH if she can regain that 10'3" jump
