Here's the press release on Hallgren, and the full quote from Rosen: "Haley is our first graduate transfer, and our first transfer we have had from a beach volleyball program. With that, it is on our staff to figure out where she best fits our program. She is very athletic, and has a great all-around skill set. She is a good passer, setter, defender and attacker. Coming from USC, she is a proven winner and has an expectation to win at the highest level. We are very excited to see what her transition to the indoor game looks like."

Michigan just posted their fall 2021 schedule on instagram. I guess they are still going with conference only schedule or is the schedule incomplete?

Michigan just posted their fall 2021 schedule on instagram. I guess they are still going with conference only schedule or is the schedule incomplete? Some Big Ten teams have posted their non-conference games while others haven't yet. So it looks like Michigan is just one of those teams that hasn't posted non-conference (though they will later).

https://www.instagram.com/p/CP-_hKeNtRI Wisconsin, Nebraska and Purdue only once is a nice break; countered with getting Rutgers and Indiana only once. Most of the home matches on Friday/Saturday which is nice. Just one wonky Wednesday match at Indiana.

I’m looking for a MI vs Dayton match in Ann Arbor this fall. Hope it happens. I would LOVE that! The two have been frequent spring scrimmage partners and the 2019 match at Frericks Center was such a great battle. Since MI played at UD in 2019, it was probably the front end of a home-home contract and the second half of the agreement would be a match at MI. Probably got pushed back due to COVID, so this should be the year hopefully. Dayton will have a very good season, but they need a strong OOC schedule to challenge the team and get it ready for NCAA tournament play. And MI needs matches that prepare them for conference play. It looks like a good fit for this fall.

Signs of life from Ann Arbor as a new Rosen Report has been posted. Coach touches on the recruitment rush; summer camps; the fall schedule and the impact of NIL. Although the non-con schedule has not been published, he confirmed they will be on the road the first two weekends and at home the last two. The second weekend of the season will be at Navy in the Kristen Dickmann Invitational with West Virginia. According to Dayton's schedule, Michigan will host the Flyers, Boston College and Eastern Michigan on the weekend of September 18/19. And a side note to Kingsley , Mark mentions that he has no returning 5th year seniors, so I think you can scratch Kiara Shannon. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CQ_yvxZN73o

Some minor news from the latest Rosen Report is that Cliff Keen arena is getting a new floor. The design was teased a bit on Twitter last week. It appears as if Mark Rosen has finally given in on Taraflex.

Things are finally getting more normal. Someone said Michigan will be solid this year. What are your expectations for Michigan Volleyball this year?

How did Beals wind up with almost a hundred fewer digs than Jones or Johnson, who don't even play that position?
player / sets played / digs Jones / 50 / 123 Johnson / 46 / 122 Beals / 27 / 33
So she played in more than half as many sets as the other two, but only accumulated 1/4 the digs.

Things are finally getting more normal. Someone said Michigan will be solid this year. What are your expectations for Michigan Volleyball this year? Two things: 1. The Ohio State U will beat BLUE like a drum 2. BLUE will fold like a cheap suit against the Buckeyes One more thing: Brutus Buckeye approves this message
