Staggering display of privilege. I do feel privileged that I was taught to stand up for myself and call things out when I see them instead of running to someone else in hopes that they will shut down something I disagree with. Now.... what’s your take on the B1G TEN? My take on the B1G is that they might have lost a little respect last season with only one team in the final four and no team in the finals. Their mix of teams, some veteran, some youthful, all talented, are positioned to return to their position as undeniably the top conference in college volleyball this coming season.

People shouldn't be fooled by a wonky Covid year. It's still the top Conference (yes I'm being a homer) and some of the middle of the pack/ bottom of the upper tier teams got better. Very curious to see if Ohio State and Purdue continue what they started, how good WILL PSU be this year, and what will the Gophers look like. Almost makes me wish summer would fly by so I can get to the Fall season.

Of course, as big a challenge as this for PSU coaching, how seriously the players are this summer in their informal workouts may be even more important. If Gabby Blossom can get much of her timing worked out with the new hitters and them with her as well as the team coming together and bonding as a unit can give them a big leg up when fall camp opens.

I have to assume the incoming transfers are going to be very motivated to try and achieve success that eluded them at their previous schools. It wasn't that long ago that Maryland was a bubble team that almost made the tournament (Hughes' second season as HC ?) and Minnesota was always in the mix but didn't go as far as fans would've liked.

Bringing in the new hitters could cause some problems with the existing members of the team and a lot of that will have to be worked out by the team this summer. Team leaders will have to step up and bring the team together because a nationally competitive Penn State important for the B1G as a league.

Actions speak louder than words. Your words are empty. You arnt gonna bait me or attack me into feeling bad about the way I think. I’m stronger then that mentally. America is not a racist country. Is there racism yes. Is the country racist absolutely not. If the country was that bad you wouldn’t have so many from other countries risking their lives trying to come here to start their lives. You feel free to believe what you want and I’ll believe what I want. That’s the benefit of living in a free country What can you share with us about your experiences as a black man or woman in America?

You feel free to believe what you want and I’ll believe what I want. That’s the benefit of living in a free country What can you share with us about your experiences as a black man or woman in America? [br That’s irrelevant because this isn’t a race issue it’s a class issue. They’re plenty of African Americans that don’t see themselves as victims and don’t believe country as whole is racist. There’s always gonna be racist people but the country as a whole isn’t racist. We are going in circles. When a African American conservative comes out and says they arnt victims which we have seen over and over they are called names like Uncle Tom. This is a liberal ideology not a black and white issue. Why don’t you figure out why like above 70 percent of African American kids grow up without fathers. That would more then likely be because of liberal policies that made it more beneficial to be a single parent cause they would be given more money. Or how about why the highest percentage of black deaths are by other black people. I’ve never said their arnt racist people cause their are. Their always will be. But we are not a racist country. So keep doing all you can to push this false narrative of victimhood ideology. You think their arnt poor white people that struggle to or Asian or Latino. Their are people who struggle in every race. That sucks but it’s part of life. That’s the hard truth. Call me mean or ignorant or whatever name you happen to have out of book today. Whatever. That fact is because a person struggles it doesn’t make people around them that do better racist. They’re plenty of successful African Americans also as their are with every race. So you can go in pushing victimhood for everyone else. That’s fine. You just aren’t gonna ever make me believe that. Their are always gonna be some true victims and we can always strive to try and be better in certain aspects but I’m not gonna play into this crybaby culture. Now I turn into bad guy because others bring up race and diversity in volleyball forum I answer then people cry do something about him.

Without Samedy I’d be surprised to see the gophers in the top 4 maybe in ztop 5 I agree, without Samedy, Shaffmaster and Landfair will have to become a lot more consistent let alone avoid the Sophomore jinx for the gophers to stay in the top 4 of the league even if Rettke and Stivrins do move on.

It is weird to me how quiet things are on the Rettke/Samedy/Stivrins front. I mean, don't they know we're on pins and needles here? I don't want to have to go try to interpret emojis and comments on social media

Only White liberal stereotypes are qualified to tell us what Black people think.

I don't want to have to go try to interpret emojis and comments on social media At this point I would take even that from Stivrins. I might have to have one of the young posters interpret the emojis for me though.
