Maryland beat WI. I was looking to see a good contest between Maryland and MN Michigan beat MN. I was looking forward to see a good contest between MI and OSU. Illinois beat Purdue on 10/1
The Maryland team that beat WI was not in evidence in Minneapolis The Michigan team that beat MN was not present in Columbus. Illinois took the first set from WI on 10/3. Set scores would indicate they hung in there. Did they continue to play well but were overmatched by the better team? Hitting % shifted pretty dramatically.
There may be other examples. If an underrated team gathers itself for an upset are their endorphins flushed out and they can't regroup for a second outperformance two days later?
'Reversion to the mean' is not much of an explanation. What is the dynamic?

An someone explain why Wisconsin did not get every award this week? They were working remotely from the BIG Ten offices this week and didn't have their normal 80% which are Wisconsin reps there?

This vid is kinda hilarious, though I appreciate them making filler content.
Certain "best plays" on here are of non-conference opposing teams to the Big Ten , e.g. #41 I think is a Colorado stuff on Iowa 😂 and so many of the first ones are stuffs on Nebraska middles for whatever reason

Lots of scores here against the BigTen team. Is it possible the editor for this is not a BigTen grad?

I was looking at Purdues schedule. I understand that Big+ means that I need to buy the subscription and that Big Network means it’s on tv. What does it mean when it says Big Network +? Is there a second Big Ten Network channel? Good question. I'm guessing you are wondering about the Wisconsin match. I looked at the Badger schedule, and they have several matches listed that way. Indiana and Michigan State are listed as being on "B1G Network+" on the Wisconsin site, but on the IU and MSU sites the same matches are listed as being on BTN+. So B1G Network+ means BTN+ Possibly? My understanding is you are correct. I believe BTN+ is a separate network from BigTen Network.

It is likely an error made by Wisconsin when they made their On-line schedule, then was copied over by Purdue. That is why the Purdue schedule showed the Pudue-Wisconsin match was going to be shown on B1G Network+.

And the URL to get there is "bigtenplus". So who knows what to call them from one week to the next. And if the question is with regard to Wisconsin vs Purdue on Oct 31, that's on ESPNU. :-)

I’m here to start the conspiracy that the rebranding from BTN+ to B1G+ is the first step in phasing out BTN entirely in favor of something else in lieu of the new conference alliance.
My tinfoil hat doesn’t fit as well as it used to.
