A-So, how did Texas manage to roll through consecutive matches against Penn State, Nebraska, and Wisconsin during the Spring 2021 tournament in Omaha? In the post-season the last 10 years, Texas has won more matches against B1G teams than it has lost, including a 3-0 win over #1 Nebraska in the 2016 national semi-final in Columbus. B-I guess by your logic, the ACC schedule did not prepare Pittsburgh and Louisville for their matches against Nebraska and Wisconsin even though both were super competitive and entertaining. C-Nebraska just served and passed better than Texas in the regional final, and had its 2 freshmen pin hitters put up their best offensive games of the entire year in the same match. A-well, prior to the Spring 2021 tournament Texas played 14 conference matches in the fall of 2020 and another 8 matches prior to starting the Omaha tournament. The B1G played zero matches in the fall and an intermittent conference season that began in late January 2021. Due to Covid there were weeks without matches a not all of the teams played like Nebraska didn’t play Wisconsin or Penn St. No B1G team was prepared to play at a high level in Omaha in the 2021 tournament, it’s sort of shocking they won the matches they did. Texas and Kentucky reached the final mostly because they we’re able to play and train in near normality. Certainly the B1G was not prepared to seriously compete. In 2016 by the time Nebraska got to the FF in Columbus they were just a physically and mentally tired team. They were the defending NCAA champions but had not won the conference in 2015. So in the number one goal in 2016 was to win the conference, and after a grueling season they won the conference. Not a excuse, but a tired team and not a team ready to play Texas in the FF. B-from my view Louisville and Pittsburgh played at a superior level to Nebraska and Wisconsin from September to November and it was the conference matches that allowed Nebraska and Wisconsin to catch up prevail in Columbus. It was the high quality of the B1G matches that allowed this growth. This fall season had high level play coming from at least 10 of the 14 teams. I’m not sure that can be said of any other conference. C- Nebraska beating Texas in the regional final was not something that surprised anyone who watched the last handful of matches Nebraska played in the conference season including a narrow loss in Madison and just a thumping of Purdue in the conference final match. Imo, if that regional final was a two out of three Nebraska still would have won. They just play superior floor defense and passing. And after watching the match in Gregory I thought Nebraska was better. “Nebraska beating Texas in the regional final was not something that surprised anyone who watched the last handful of matches Nebraska played in the conference season “ that’s an extraordinary overstatement

Idk if anybody posted about this but Lauren Forte posted a story with “ let’s go bru “ cheering on the UCLA mens basketball team & also followed another UCLA player - so ☕️ Yeah, a few days ago (1 day before Hord committed to Nebraska) Forte started following Texas' Madi Skinner, and vice verse. Looks like today she started following UCLA's Charitie Luper, and vice verse. Her "bru" comment gave me flashbacks to when Skinner congratulated McKissock for announcing she was transferring to UCLA, folks on here thinking that was a sign Skinner would also be a Bruin, and then Skinner ends up choosing Texas. Hoping for another deja vu

Hoping for another deja vu I might be wrong but Forte posted in her story she was in Long Beach and she’s home 🏠. Idk if that means she got a house in Long Beach or what.

Personally, I think Hord to Nebraska is kind of funny. Can't wait until the meme "We all just want Kaitlyn to be happy" takes off next fall... We all just want Kaitlyn to be happy. We all just want Lexi to be happy. who came up with that phrase???

Maybe she’s transferring to LBSU. 🤔 One can dream. 😊
