Konieczek fading. Thank god Cardama Baez won the 10K otherwise this could be a disastrous meet for the Oregon women.

Wow, great job by Mahala Norris of Air Force. She's been putting up great results ever since her fourth place finish at cross country nationals.
Edit: I forgot that Norris was also fourth in the 5K at indoors just a few days before cross country nationals.

Wow, crazy close from the Air Force girl. She stumbled over the last hurdle but just sprinted them down.

Charlotte Prouse finishes 5th. To follow up her 9th place finish in this meet in ... 2016.

I think Wayment needed to make her move significantly earlier than she did, but she still has a great future in the steeplechase.

Yeah, I saw that, but I don't think she was winning the race even if she didn't stumble. She needed to go with like 600-800 meters remaining.

She needed to go with like 600-800 meters remaining. Yeah, she'll probably look back on that with some what ifs. I think most of the others are graduating, so she'll be a big favorite going into next year.

I know she was very unhappy at Washington (under the coach who resigned under fire) before transferring to New Mexico. She made a series of YouTube videos (she seems to have taken them down) around this time that also documented the Lobos' 2017 cross country national championship team, and it was remarkable to see how depressed she was when she first got there to how elated she was when they won the title.

Anna Cockerell has been my favorite SC runner for years, alongside Kendall Ellis.

Wow, Cockrell wins going away to earn 10 more points for USC. She's likely to pull off the 110/400 double.

Wow, Cockrell wins going away to earn 10 more points for USC. She's likely to pull off the 110/400 double. This was her "weak" event. LSU is out of it with their hurdler scratching. A&M has a slight chance to catch SC but they'd basically need maximum points at this point and SC to stumble.

Another great result for NC A&T, as Sturgis takes the 100m. 10.74, which is slightly faster than Sha'Carri Richardon's collegiate record (10.75), but there was too much wind. I think they said it was a 2.2 m/s tailwind, and the maximum legal wind is 2.0 m/s. Still, wind-aided or not, that is extremely fast.

Wow, Sturgis from NC A&T with a big upset in the 100. 10.74 is freaking ridiculous. That's medal-contending time at the Olympics. TT 2nd, Clark 3rd, Kemba Nelson 4th.
