Jill Montgomery might be the only person on the planet who thinks that Mu "doesn't look that fast" when she's running.

I imagine it's down to Gittens or Cockrell for athlete of the meet.

The only consolation for Oregon's bad showing is that Arkansas is just as bad.

Virginia's Meyer take the 800m. That was a nice race for Claire Seymour to finish fourth. That makes up some of the points Wayment missed out on for BYU.

For reasons unknown, Jill Montgomery seems to be under the impression that LSU is still in the team race.

Cockrell easily pulls off the 110/400 hurdles double to earn another 10 points for USC.

Jill Montgomery seems to be under the impression that LSU is still in the team race. T&F news has them at 60 points on the form chart (within 2 points of A&M and SC). They'll be at 23.5 once the HJ is scored... and only have Ofili in the 200 left as dry powder. Huge underperformance but with their men crushing everyone it takes some fo the sting off I'm sure.

Gittens finishes 3rd in the HJ. Between South Carolina's Glenn and TAMU's Distin as the bar goes to 6-4

Gittens finishes 3rd in the HJ. Between South Carolina's Glenn and TAMU's Distin as the bar goes to 6-4 So Gittens ends up with 24 points by herself (second in long jump, first in heptathlon), as long as she shows up for the 800 in the heptathlon.
