Kunz wins the trials with 6703 points, which is a remarkable performance considering that she didn't have the standard going in.

World record for McLaughlin at 51.90. Also great to see Cockrell make the team. Muhammad is also going to Tokyo.
Edit: I accidentally said 41.90 at first. It wasn't quite that fast.

World record for McLaughlin at 41.90. Also great to see Cockrell make the team. That was an amazing race. She just blew by Muhammad, which is no easy feat. our depth in the W400 hurdles is crazy. Shamier Little, a former World silver medalist, who is only 26, hasn't made an Olympic team (and probably won't, sadly) - which I never would have believed when I saw her in college. Also, as an Anna Cockrell stan, loving that she made it!

I thought Cockrell was going to be fourth after seeing the semis.

Surprisingly slow pace to open the 1500 with only 5 guys with the standard.

Hocker wins. Just over the standard, but I think he's still going to Tokyo based on where his world ranking will be.

Surprisingly slow pace to open the 1500 with only 5 guys with the standard. Oregon Ducks go 1-2 in the 1500.... but Hocker is still 2 tenths off the Olympic standard.
