We'll see. I think USA have another gear or two. They have a tendency to play down to their opponents.

That combo would not work. You would get even less output from MBH/Hill compared to Larson/Robinson. At least with the latter pairing, we can run our middles and be in system more often. Hill is steady passer, mbh is least passer but she can terminate the ball. Isn't it the reason why fans also want swp/kp out there? Most of us are annoyed we haven't seen more of SWP/KP this tournament in order to formulate a better opinion. But I would argue that their offensive output would more than make up for any passing. Plus, I would add that both have passed better than MBH has so far. THAT is why I was just not sold on bring BOTH of Hill and MBH. Hell, taking 3 setters (Micha as a serving sub) would have been a better decision based on what I have seen so far. Then again, I am not able to see their practices. I also am counting on both MBH/Hill getting back into their groove before Tokyo. Hope that clarifies at least my viewpoint on this issue. |

THIS is what concerns me about Krob. She got stopped on every attempt just now. OOS she is a liability.

Kelsey just isn’t cutting it. I know she’s a great passer, but the offense of MBH would make up for the drop in passing, especially with Larson on the floor.

Robinson is not going to carry the team offensively. She's on the roster for her versatility.
If Larson or JWO are injured, Robinson is their best replacement. |
