Really interested to see if/where Shondell finds the incentive to mix up something in his lineup this year. It probably starts with Lil’ Hornung.

Really interested to see if/where Shondell finds the incentive to mix up something in his lineup this year. It probably starts with Lil’ Hornung. That back court is going to be excellent -- the competition is going to be fierce. Wonder if Big Hornung snatches back that libero jersey and if Schermerhorn keeps her spot 🤔 Also hope we take some risks and let Chinn, Ellis, and Koch get some more all-around play: passing, serving, playing OPP.

We know Purdue has a neutral site date with Louisville on Sept. 10.
A rematch with Kentucky would be nice. Certainly wouldn’t be that much of a travel burden.

Who, if anyone, transfers out this season? Which freshmen redshirts this season? Also, I’d love to see/read everyone’s projected starting line-ups.
I think Ali Hornung will DEFINITELY see the court from very early on.

But seriously there is more Kumbaya in Holloway than in the USWNT gym currently which is wonderful. A lot of them are just happy to be there.

This may not be all right, but at least a portion of it is. I’m manifesting the rest. Cleveland will be 6 rotations, Chinn gets a crack at 6 rotations sometimes being relieved of back row duties by Schemy/Otec, A. Hornung takes Newton’s three back row rotations. Colvin will at least see time in Jael’s middle spot (I really do love Jael though). M. Hornung runs away with the Libero jersey. We will see a double sub from time to time against the Indiana and Iowas of the world just to keep Ellis happy and get her some time at opposite.

Curious is Renner going to see the court either setting or RS?

Curious is Renner going to see the court either setting or RS? I think she'll see the court... unless Yim looks better in the practice gym. But I don't predict her starting any matches. I know Bush has 2 more years of eligibility, but who knows if she'll take them now that she's graduated. Gotta start preparing for that future.

Man this team has depth, but non-returners really don’t have the experience/playing time.
Lots of options here but yeah, seems the team chemistry is amazing so that definitely helps.
For me Jael has been the biggest surprise and am excited to see her next year. Expect Taylor to continue where she left off and I’m gonna call it - will be an all American
