I know a good one thats in a rough team culture right now and Purdue's (from the outside) looks real good.

I haven't heard any specifics but it appears everyone from the 2021 class will be honored on Senior Night.
That means Cleveland, Mo Hornung, Johnson, Bush, and Terwilliger are leaving + Newton/Otec. Pretty much the entire starting line-up.
I expected Bush to leave since she graduated with Otec in the spring. Mo Hornung confirmed a few weeks ago during a press conference that she'd love to see her sister wearing her jersey number next year, which meant she wasn't coming back.
Next year is going to be very interesting.

Well fellow Purdue fans, how are we feeling about our road to the Final Four?

Well fellow Purdue fans, how are we feeling about our road to the Final Four? BYU/Utah will be... interesting. And then Pitt?? I'll take it but I'm not calling anything yet.

Well fellow Purdue fans, how are we feeling about our road to the Final Four? Much less confident after last night's match, but Purdue definitely didn't get hosed with the draw. That's not to say they'll make it, but they didn't draw Louisville, so that's nice.

I’m hoping that Purdue can play up to their potential. Last night was one of the worst performances I have seen from Purdue in person. The just seemed dejected and tired. I am glad that they lost like that in the regular season though. Now it’s tournament time and it’s time to show people how Purdue Volleyball plays. Nothing but happiness for them right now. Will be cheering them on on Thursday.

You have to think the team and coaching staff was just too rundown from the emotional week they've just had. They'll bounce back.

Just bought my tickets for the 2nd round match on Friday! I'm REALLY hoping they don't stumble in the first round to Illinois State, what a nightmare that would be...

I was sitting behind the bench at the Purdue-Dayton 2nd round matchup on Friday night. It was sometime during the 2nd set, I was watching individual players during the timeout just to see their emotions/reactions to being down so far in what looked like a huge upset. I noticed Koch and Ellis were talking behind everyone else and Koch mouthed the words "bad energy". I truly wonder what the Shondells and seniors said in the locker room because a switch was flipped. It was a game where EVERYONE got their monies worth. I am hoping they come focused and energized on Thursday.

I forget where I heard it, but Coach Shondell said that he didn’t even talk to the team very much. The 6 players who were on the floor at the end of the 2nd set spoke to each other on the court the most during halftime. I think that it was Senior leadership that righted the ship. The first half, all of their faces were so sad and tired. The second half, they were smiling and playing loose. They need to go back to that “happy” place and keep it until the end of the tournament. They only made maybe 1 error in the last 3 sets…while making 10+ in the first 2 sets. I am hoping the best for Purdue. They cannot be 2 sets down with BYU. I saw that we have never beaten BYU. Hopefully this year is the year to get the W.

This is the year to shine. Shondell and company have been working hard and trying to prepare this team to the best of their ability. I cannot wait for Thursday 11am to come.

Really glad they have so many vets who are willing and ready to take the leadership role(s).
